Not nice to eat, very sticky and hard. Taste quite bad.

Big high calorie, high protein, filling bar. They are not a replacement for a nutritious meal (packed full of who knows what) but if you have no access to real quality food and need calories and protein these are definitely worth a look. Great for after the gym, to keep in the car for emergencies (waiting in traffic for 4 hours on the motorway, you'll be glad to have some of these), prepper / survival bag worthy (low weight, high value)!

I have been eating these bars almost every week for years and they have become my favorite quick breakfast. Started eating them when I was road cycling back in the 2010s and I'm still eating them today when working out. They are true meal replacements so I would not eat them along with anything else. Texture and consistency can fluctuate a little from box to box, but they usually taste the same. They keep well in a gym back or backpack, but if they get hot and then cool down quickly (as in the refrigerator) they can show some signs of "chocolate bloom" and get a bit crumbly.

These are hands down my favorite meal replacement bars. The apple pie and the cookie crunch are the best, in my opinion. Getting a bit pricey, though.

The MET-Rx Big 100 Super Cookie Crunch is hands down the best tasting protein bar I have had. I have tried a lot of different brands and nothing comes close. Great flavor, good texture, and it actually feels like something I want to eat instead of forcing it down. It fills me up and works well when I need something quick. If you want a protein bar that actually tastes good, this is the one.
