Phanteks T30 High-Performance PWM 120mm Triple Mode Premium Fan Pack

I’ve tried my fair share of PC fans over the years — Noctuas, Arctic P12s, and some of the usual budget options — but the Phanteks T30-120 is in a league of its own. I’m using it to cool an NVIDIA Tesla P40, and let me tell you, this isn’t just another case fan — it’s an industrial-grade piece of kit that means business. First, let’s talk build quality: the fan frame is made from glass-fiber reinforced LCP (liquid crystal polymer), which feels rock solid — no flex, no cheap plastics. This is the same kind of material you see in enterprise server fans and high-end laptop cooling solutions. It doesn’t just look premium; it is premium. Now, performance. Running the T30 in Performance mode (via the included switch), I’ve seen a notable drop in idle and load temps on my P40, which runs hot under AI workloads and long CUDA sessions. The Tesla is passively cooled by default, so it needs a fan that doesn’t mess about — and the T30 delivers, pushing serious static pressure through a custom shroud I built. Even at higher RPMs, noise levels are surprisingly tolerable. It’s not silent, but it’s never harsh. Just a clean whoosh of airflow. If you’re using it in a studio, office, or AI workstation, it’s not going to drive you mad like some whiny high-speed fans do. I have tried many fans over the years and these are by far the best build quality and quietest when idle. I set the speed to the middle (2000rpm) speed and then used my motherboards fan tuning app and they are inaudible when the PC is idle. The extra 5mm in thickness seems to help push more air without needing more rpm. I noticed around a 2 degree drop in temps when idle on the CPU and motherboard and under load around the same. The fans ramp up to around 1200rpm when under load, which gives a good balance of noise vs cooling. I could change the fan curves to ramp the speed up more, but they do get a little loud when nearing 2000rpm with 3 of them up front. At 1200rpm they cool my PC better than my old fans with lower noise. The build quality is unlike any fan I have ever owned and you really see why they cost a little more when you handle them. They feel solid and very rigid with the fibre reinforced resin material they use. They also weigh more than other fans and don't feel plasticky. The weight is 230g, which is nearly 100g more than my old 120mm fans. I wasn't sure I would like how they look as a lot of the pictures online show them to be a lot lighter grey than they are. I think they look great in my all black system. The only slight complaint is that the supplied hardware isn't designed as well as it could be. The fans have soft rubber pads in the corners to decouple them from the case and cut down on any resonance. The only issue is that the long bolts they supply sit into little recesses cut into the rubber, so they make contact with the plastic fan frame rather than the soft rubber. This means the fan is no longer decoupled and fan vibration can transfer through the bolts from the fan frame, to the case. Other fans have little rubber cups that sit inside the fans mounting holes, so the bolt is completely decoupled from the fan. Does this make any noticeable difference? Not that I can detect, but I guess all cases are different, so it might not be the same for everyone. Overall these are fantastic fans and I am glad I went for these over other similar priced fans I was looking at. They are quiet, built amazingly well and have great performance. Worth every penny.

Great fans, does what they say they do. 3 settings directly on the fan. Relatively quiet and pushes plenty of air.

Hybrid control switch for manually setting RPM powerfull airflow 3000RPM insane watch youtube videos got 4 already! lets just say my pc is as cool as a fridge! worth it quality and dont mind the material aesthetically its not something that looks great but sliver grey its actually growing on me no RGB lights deffinatly worth the buy! phantek the new underdog flagship for PSU FANs some cases but mostly SFX PSU and Fans Highly recommended!

Amazing performance!! The amount of air it moves is amazing!! Have it on my GPU and CPU radiators. It makes a noise at full blast, so the noise levels are up to you to decide

These fans are awesome. Easy to install, like an other fan. Very well made. They are thicker than most fans and need extra space inside your case to fit. They can be set to zero RPM and ramp up quick when needed. I currently have them in an unRAID server and have them set to turn on when a hard drive gets to a certain temp. They can be very loud but based on my fan curve they rarely run at 100 percent. I've had some noctua's in previously and they never seemed to push much air - Maybe because they were lower end fans. These fans seem pull massive amounts of air from the front of my case and out of the rear. You can really feel it. it would be good if it was in another colour or had RGB, but for my use-case, they are fine the colour they are.

Simply the best extremely fast and a little loud but if it's performance you want you can't buy better for the price.

Cannot praise this fan highly enough. Build quality is unrivalled, since it uses LCP for both the rotor and the frame (something not even Noctua can do). Each fan has a female pigtail to allow chaining, and comes with eight 35 mm bolts for use with radiators AND a braided PWM extension. Add to this an ingenious three-mode switch for controlling rpm and idle percentage... this can be rightly called a Noctua A12x25 on steroids. The only - ONLY - fly in the ointment is the possible reduced compatability due to the 30 mm thickness, but anybody considering this fan will be going in knowing this in advance. Top quality, top scope-of-delivery, and, here at least, a very fair price. 10/10.

Very silent and powerful.

Tenho 10 deles rodando no computador, 3 estão no watercooler corsair H150i pro, todos no modo avançado 3000 RPM com curva de fan. até 1600 RPM o som é zero, depois disso o som é alto mas não é ruim como um fan barato, mesmo em 3000 RPM parece um som de uma turbina gostosa.

Mi AIO liquido Asus 240 generaba mucho ruido en mi mini-itx gamer pc y sustituí los ventiladores por los phanteks T30 y bajararon la temperatura y el ruido tremendamente. Vale la pena cada maldito centavo

These are amazing. They're absolutely silent and provide awesome airflow. If you have room for their extra thickness and can afford them, they're a no-brainer.

Spettacolari. Mi pento di non averle preferito subito in confronto ad altri marchi. Sono le migliori al mondo per questa misura. Airflow esagerato!
