Read and follow the instructions and it works. Easy to use and effective.
I recently caught the leg-pocket of a pair of acrgo-trousers on a seat-arm as I was leaving an aircraft, and created a large rip in my trousers-leg. This is the first time that I have used this product, so I read the instructions carefully. It is effectively a double-sided glue strip. When you open it it seems to be a quite stiff paper-covered "thing". One side is marked "backing paper". So, 1. first I cut off a piece to size, approx 1.5inch x 6 inches 2. I turned the trousers inside out, and mated up the edges of the split as well as I could, even using an iron to flatten everything. 3. I placed the mending tape on the split and a piece of greaseproof paper on top - and placed the iron on top for about 10-15 seconds. 4. The repair strip bonded solidly. 5. I then cut a strip of fabric from an old shirt (I did not have an old pair of similat cargo trousers) just a little larger than the repair strip. 6. I peeled off the backing paper, laid the shirt fabric on top, a piece of greaseproof paper on top of that, and again applied the hot iron. 7. Once it cooled I gently lifted the overlapping edges of the shirt patch, and trimmed the excess with sharp scissors. It is a good repair. It is not invisible, because the edges of the tear were frayed. But for day to day work, going to the shops, basically anywhere that I would wear cargo trousers in the first place, these are ideal and look fine. So far I have worn them extensively and machine washed them at 40 degrees, without problems.

Well worth a try
Arrived quickly - but only just got around to using it. Watched the video a couple of times before I began repair - I had three horizontal splits on a pair of cargo Capri length pants. I had just finished a pile of ironing and thought I would give the “patch” a go. The first patch was completed really well and looks ok. So I now proceeded to the second leg - but couldn’t get the patch to stick. Adjusted the iron temperature down - had a bit of a think and the adjusted the heat back up to my normal use and all was well - job completed. The demo suggested the iron should be medium heat - I would say hotter - you need to melt the glue. I have not eased these pants yet so only 4 stars.

Great for temporary fixes
A paper backed transparent polyester that sticks onto your fabric to hold it in place. Fine for temporary mends. It doesn't last very long though. & you have to use your own common sense to ensure that you iron the correct side to the fabric, as the packet does not give any instructions/guidance in this respect.

Used it to repair jumper
Used it to repair school jumper. Had a little tear so cant say more but its holding up well after few washes. It's good value for ME as new jumper would have cost over £35. Will update the review if anything changes!

Bad quality, it does not work
I followed the instructions and the items doesn’t work. The glue just sticks to everything and the ripped area isn’t holding. Really poor, a waste of money

Fit for purpose.
I used it for a tear in the bag of a sleeping bag and it worked perfect. To be sturdy I left the paper on the back. It’s exactly what I needed. Thank you 😊

It was the perfect way to mend a couple of worn out spots on my La-Z-Boy chair without a creating a gaudy looking patch.

Produit conforme aux attente et de bonne qualité. Le dommage à réparer était trop important donc pas adapté à mon problème mais ce n'est en rien la faute du produit ou fabricant.

It works great!

This is a fair fix, biggest complaint is the material is rough and firm so judge based on the material of clothing. I used it to mend linen pants it is ok but definitely would not be my first choice if I had another option

C'est dommage une fois collé sur le vêtement, ce n'est pas vraiment invisible mais brillant. Il suffit de le savoir...
