Barbie: Horse Show Champ (Step into Reading)

In this book Barbie loves her horse Tawney and takes good care of her. She wants to win a ribbon in the horse show and she helps her horse get over her fear of jumping and win white ribbon. Great to read to littles or for early readers, not too long, not too hard of words. Also has a lesson, how it takes work work to care for pets and animals. My girls loved it.

Children really dislike the simple word pattern books they are provided at school and this causes them to think they don't like reading. for young girls, the Barbie emerging reader books will turn this around. Many sight words, a few challenging words, good repetition of words throughout the story and wonderful pictures. And what could be better than for young girls than a story about horses and always a happy ending. Buy the series and watch your child's reading blossom.

Any thing and anyway you can get your child to read is a big plus ! I also bought the horse and doll set and it helps to read and let them also interact the story over with the doll and horse ! I just love this !

Good step into reading book for learning to read. Good choice for a child that likes horses and/or Barbie.

We bought the pony tale movie and this book. They don't have the same horse but my 4 year old still enjoys reading it after watching the movie. Easy read. After a few times she can read it by herself.

My daughter loves Barbie and whenever she notices any words or signs she asks me what it says ( she’s 4) so I figured I would get her this to help her get started on reading. I love that there’s only a few words / simple words on the page. She’s able to focus on each word and say it. I only give 4 stars because I wish that these weren’t so exspencive. I would like to buy a set

I bought this book for my kindergartener. She loves horses. She is enjoying having this book read to her, but it won't be long and she will be able to read it herself. The pictures are very colorful. My preschooler also loves the book.

My granddaughter loves this book. She is in Kindergarten and said that a lot of her new words are in it and she can almost read the whole book by herself.

Great little book. Bright and colourful. Easy for a youngster to read. Recommend for 5 to 6 year olds. Granddaughter was delighted with it.
