FOREVER NEWGranular Detergent Powder - Delicate Laundry Care Wash - Original Scented, 32 Oz

I have been using Woolite for my polyester tops and satin pillowcases for years and after awhile, it just didn't seem to be cleaning anymore. So I starting searching for something else to try. There really are very few choices once you start looking. I had even tried a plant based detergent on other items recently and I can't tell you the clothes are clean after the load is done.Using my regular liquid detergent for my regular clothes and having to switch at some point as well, I discovered the trick to using a powder detergent - you MUST make sure it dissolves completely BEFORE you start the load!!!So, I had faith in this. Filled my tablespoon and it came out slowly and I dropped it into the cold water and stirred. Guess what? There are rock hard chucks that absolutely refused to dissolve floating around the drum! I got a small laundry cup and put some fairly warm water in it - around 1 inch - fished out the chunks and put them in the cup. They dissolved immediately. Feeling better, I let the load run its course.After I put them in the dryer, they came out smelling fairly strong (from the heat) and I laid them out to finish air drying.My results/conclusion:1. It has a scent even though it says it's unscented. It is NOT bad, just smells clean and when the items were completely dry, there was hardly any smell left over at all.2. This stuff actually works!! Not only are the pillowcases clean - it removed facial oil stains that have been there (and dried in there) for YEARS!!!! Could not believe it.This is an awesome product and I highly recommend it!!(Side note: Again, as a first time user, figuring out what product is what when all the bottles look alike is frustrating. Liquid, darks, scented, unscented and original and in at least 3 sizes each; make sure you end up with the product you wanted in your cart.)

Just soak with the warm water and dirt will come out. Like the easiness and the smell.

I have been using this product for at least ten years, It was introduced to me by a salesperson in the lingerie department. If you handwash bras sweaters or anything delicate, this is your go-to product. Fresh scent and it cleans without damaging delicate fabrics. I use the powder and it lasts for about two years!

I have been using Forever New wash for many years. I used to just use it for bras, but discovered a very long time ago that it works best on my water exercise swim suits. Water exercise classes are almost always held in the same warmer-water-pool as the little kids swim lessons. Can you say higher levels of chlorine?! Using Forever New, I can wear the same suit for over 1 1/2 years twice a week before the stretch fails. That is significantly longer than even “chlorine resistant” suits last using regular detergent! Pleasant, not overpowering, fragrance.

The unscented ones are definitely less scented. I do prefer some scent, but these are great for those who have a sensitive nose, and it is cheaper. It's gentle for my intimates, but since I handwash them, there's this weird hard-to-wash-off coating on my hands? I do extra rinses to make sure its all gone. I think dirt do come out as the water does get darker, but for more stubborn stains, it's still best to use a stronger spot detergent. It's not great for heavy stains 😞 . Nevertheles I like these enough to used them lightly for my silks. Am happy with my 2 year stock lol. 😊

This product is good for personal laundry, panties, bras, keeps it longer lasting. Like new each time wash. Smells good too.

A crisp clean smell from this product and a gentle clean too. A little high priced though.
