Fits and Works Very Well
I had to replace a CPU fan in a NUC computer. This part fit perfectly, was detected by the BIOS and spins at the proper RPM. Lifespan is good so far, running for months now. The noise is comparable to the original fan the unit replaced.

Appears well made, perfect fit. No issues.
Perfect fit. NUCi5 8th gen Temp shutdowns. New fan works without issue. Unit runs 24/7 with a QSNAP raid 5 array for home server. Old fan was completely locked up. runs without issue,

Perfect fit. You can do it yourself by being careful
This was a perfect fit for my Intel NUC. The bearing on the old fan had worn out and were getting noisy. I had to be careful, but everything went fine the first time around. Nice and quiet.

Direct replacement, longevity is questionable.
I picked this up for my NUC8i5BEH when I damaged the orignal fans connector when doing a deep clean of the system. It was a direct replacement and was fairly easy to switch out the orinal for the replacement. Worked fine at the time. Fast forward a year and a half and the fan has locked up. It won't freespin manually at all, when installed in the system, it runs very choppy, stuttering. CPU temps over 100C, shutting down the system. Thankfully, I didn't throw out the original fan as the only thing wrong with it was that I broke the connector and was able to salvage it. I de-soldered the power lines off of both fans, and was able to re-solder the connector from this fan to the original. That fan is running along just fine at this point. At this point, the oringinal fan has over three years on it whilst this replacement lasted less than half that long. I don't see any other customers mentioning failures fairly early, so mine could just be a dud. Past the 6 month warranty period, so it is what it is. All this being said, I would actually give 3.5 stars if I could and will most likely purchase one again if/when the oringinal fan finally stops working. The $30 (as of this review, 2/22/24) for it is $10 cheaper than when I originally purchsed it (7/7/22). Whilst it's an older computer, it still serves my needs fine and $30 is better than the cash for a new computer.

Cools Well
My home Plex server is a NUC, and it crashed last night due to overheating. It was obviously a fan failure. My NUC was so hot when this happened that you couldn't even keep your hand on it for more than a couple of seconds. This replacement fan arrived a few minutes ago, and I already have my server back up and running. The NUC feels nice and cool now, and I'm so thankful for the fast overnight shipping. The problem with these NUC fans is they aren't ball bearing. It's a design flaw, but not a flaw with this product. If you run your NUC 24x7x365 like me you'll inevitably have to replace it every couple years. They don't usually go out immediately, so to be proactive check your NUC's temperature periodically. A few days before my fan failed my NUC's CPU was running about 163 degrees Fahrenheit. After replacing the fan it's been doing 114 degrees Fahrenheit. My NUC Plex server runs on Linux (Rocky Linux to be specific). At 163 degrees it was giving temperature alarms at bootup, in the system logs, and when running the "sensors" command. I just ignored it when I shouldn't have. I've now added a cron job that alerts me via email to any temperature alarms going forward. I bought my NUC in 2021 and had to replace the fan in 2023. Now I've had to replace it again in 2025. The last fan I bought in 2023 never got the temperature down below 130 degrees. This one got it down to 114, which I am very happy to see. This is a good fan as far as NUC fans go. Thus, the reason for 5 stars.
