Poetic Meter and Form (Wooden Books, 6) Hardcover – Illustrated, February 16, 2016

This Wooden Book is small so one can't expect it to contain all poetic styles, let alone the more difficult-to-mimic sonnet styles. Definitely a good read for someone who doesn't like big, thick books but wants to be able to speak with passable knowledge about poetry (and maybe try a little for themselves, too).

Wynne's little volume is a splendid introduction to or refresher coarse in poetic style. I heartily recommend it to anyone who enjoys verse and especially to those who would like to compose their own poems.
