Best packing tape. I had an off brand that I threw away. Scotch is the best.

I buy these because I love the dispenser so much! The dispenser is so light and easy to use. I do a lot of shipping and my big tape dispenser is heavy and hard on my hands, it also doesn't rip the tape very nice and it's not easy to start and stop where I want it. These Scotch tape dispensers start and stop so easily with no fuss, they're easy to refill and reuse. I use different types and designs of packing tape so I like to have a few of these Scotch tapes around. The tape is good as it's strong and durable but it's also forgiving sometimes if I need to undo some tape, it peels off easily and I can redo or reposition in most cases. This was a nice value for a dispenser and an extra roll of tape.

I m SO glad I bought this. The dispenser is sturdy and easy to use, VERY easy. The tape is so much nicer than the cheaper brands. It’s just the right size, sticks nicely and seals my packages very well it is thick so you only need to use a little and is easy to remove if you accidentally put it in the wrong spot. The dispenser works very well and is easy to use. The tape is very strong and is very easy to use. I will never buy cheaper imitations again. The cheaper imitations I have tried are thinner and very hard to use. Other brands very thin and get very tangled, and cause lots of waste. Scotch Sure Start is perfect!! Easy from start to finish. No wasteful tangling. Love it!

It's Scotch brand. Need I say more? I've been using this brand packing tape since, well I can't remember. It's always been the go to tape for serious packing. I haven't been loyal to the brand but it seems I always come back. The tape in my situation is not for repackaging stuff to be sent back but for larger projects. I unfortunately had to move into a handicap apartment after my wife and major care giver passed away. That meant packing up a nine room house and trying to stuff it into a medium sized apartment. Isn't going to work folks. Because I'm wheelchair bound I had to rely on family members from both sides. Not only did it help me out physically but mentally as well. My wife and I had been in the house for almost twenty five years. That's a lot of accumulated stuff as well as a lot of accumulated memories. Having people around you who are part of those memories made the move much easier. A good portion of the furniture and other things went with the family members. Another portion went to my daughter in Brooklyn who was setting up a household after her divorce, Some of course was going to my apartment and the rest to charity. At the end of the packing there were close to two hundred large cardboard moving boxes. Every one was taped with this Scotch brand tape. I don't mean just the top. Each box had to be constructed from the bottom up. We had the large commercial size huge rolls but it was the same tape. From what I understand every box made it to their destination in the same shape as they left. The apartment I was moving into was a handicap unit. That means the doors are a bit wider, the bathroom much larger, all countertops lower as well as light switches. I wasn't in the apartment three days when a pipe broke in the upstairs wall flooding my unit. It was necessary for me to be moved but at the time none were available. The complex management was great. The stuff that was unpacked was repacked and they used Scotch brand tape. Unfortunately a lot of my stuff was ruined. The complex management set me up in one of those Suite hotels for a couple of weeks while another handicap apartment was set up. In the meantime the complex worked with the insurance company. The insurance covered just about everything and the complex covered the rest. The complex even supplied a crew to unpack the boxes and to set up the new furniture when it arrived. A few months after moving in the complex started replacing all the handicap apartment's heating system and new air conditioning. Once again things had to be boxed and once again they used Scotch brand. I have been retired now for quite a long time. Before the illness made me retire I was a principal Real Estate broker. I saw a lot of moving companies moving a lot of boxes. I can't remember seeing any other tape other than Scotch brand. Over the years I have used this packing tape to fix my daughters doll, to fix a cracked pane of glass, hanging Christmas decorations and on and on. The four stars? The photo in the description makes it look as the normal size I buy. This unfortunately is a bit less on each roll. Next time I'll dig a bit deeper into the description. You know what you're getting here and it is a much better value than buying in-store. The easy peel feature of this tape is amazing, not tough to release use or loud noise when using.

I've been using exactly this tape for ages now and buy it here rather than going store to store and checking what may or may not be in stock. I obviously use alot of tape as a regular purchaser on Amazon, and Scotch Sure Start is amazing compared to what I've used over the years. It doesn't stick to itself, it's quiet, and it glides easily, which makes application accurate and easy. I would never buy any other type or brand.

We were in dire need of packaging tape since we wanted mail out gifts for family ahead of the holiday rush. So glad this was the twin pack because we through the first roll rather quickly; we were taking extra precautions to ensure the each box survived the trip. Switching out the rolls was simple enough and were rolling again within minutes. The boxes arrived at there destination intact and everyone loved the gifts. We were even complimented on our box wrapping skills. Will order again.

Not as good as I had expected - but OKAY

Moving is never an easy chore - this dispenser and tape have brought an ease to at least one portion. It never “catches” on the dispenser and seems to still well to all the boxes. So far so good!
