HSU Aluminum Thumbscrew Set + Wrench for Gopro Hero 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, Gopro Session, AKASO Campark and Other Action Cameras (Blue)

After two to three years staying put and not travelling due to COVID, I am ready to go for a long vacation trip. So, I pull out my GOPRO 9 and get it ready. I bought that for travel and I hardly use it. I was playing with it and tried out various attachments and settings to get familiar.While I was attaching the GOPRO stick, the screw broke and rendered it useless. A closer examination revealed that it was cheaply made. It is just a screw with a plastic knob. The corners of the screw head are stress points. No wonder it broke. Any flaw or repeated use could break that knob.While I was dismayed that GOPRO would furnish such a cheaply made screw, I am glad that it broke before I started my trip. I quickly search Amazon and got this Aluminum Thumbscrew Set. I choose the black as I do not want to draw attention to the other brightly color ones.The screws arrived quickly and there are two standard length and one short length screws. The knob is Aluminum and it feels much sturdier than the old plastic one. These also come with O-rings, plastic washers and nuts. A wrench is provided in case more torque is required to tighten the screws.I tried these new screws with various attachments and they work without any issue. So far so good. I really like these screws. Should I known the original GOPRO screw is so junk, I would have replaced it from the get-go. Highly Recommended!

I borrowed a friend's Hero4 for undersea use on a vacation, and at one point, a loose bolt on the stick mount came out and fell to the bottom of the sea. (Fortunately, I caught the GoPro itself before it too fell.) I needed to find a replacement to return to my friend, and this product did just the trick. When looking at available choices, this one seemed the best cost and most likely fit. Other options didn't always say they would fit the older GoPro models, and even the official GoPro site didn't offer any options for the old Hero4 (even though it wasn't clear things like this bolt would or wouldn't be a different size on older models). But this one fit perfectly as advertized, and seems sturdy.

Better than the original GoPro. Sturdy. Has a flat washer and rubber o-ring. Excellent.

Good quality and beautiful end product, easy to use also. I mounted my drone camera and goes pretty good. I give 4 star instead of 5 because mine has arrived without the rubber rings

HSU Aluminum Thumbscrew Set + Wrench for GoPro: It's worth paying a little more for HSU aluminum accessories for GoPro. These thumbscrews turn smoothly. I've run into bargain ones that don't. I don't worry about snapping mounts or stripping plastic threads. The aluminum tightening key is great too. You can never have too many of them.

Overall the screws were great. Hard to tell yet whether the rubber o-rings/plastic washers are even needed.What I would like to draw attention to is that (much like GoPro's own brand tool for tightening screws) the tool here is designed to fit completely AROUND the entire thumb-screw.That's great....if the thumbscrew head is fully exposed.But in a few unusual mounting cases (Floaty being a quick one that comes to mind) this is not the case.As you screw the head of the thumbscrew in - it's eventually flush with the floaty and it's much harder to make the tool bite.My solution was hitting it with the belt sander for about 20-30 seconds. Just remember to take off ONLY ONE of the inner contact points on the tool ;)

Great Replacement Screws for GoPro

Dudaba de la marca pues lógicamente viene desde China y no sabía si era un buen producto o no. Viendo reviews en internet (videos) me di cuenta de la alta calidad y recomendación de HSU - Hongsun Union Technology Co. Ltd.en todo lo que tiene que ver con aluminio y trípodes.El material 100% aluminio en color rojo es de muy alta calidad y visualmente se ve excelente, todo un 'must' para una GoPro y que realzará su imagen sea cual sea el accesorio que tenga. El tornillo largo obviamente es SÓLO para usarse en la cámara y los demás son para las monturas, si no, les pasara como quien dice que no cabe la llave.El 'empaque' que viene (si, el plástico negro) es para evitar que se presione de más contra la cámara o accesorios, y sobre todo que vibre por algún mal ajuste.Sin duda, compraría otro paquete en caso de haber en color plata o dorado.

Desde que los encontré no dude en comprarlos ya que le Dan una personalidad distinta a mi cámara de acción y a sus diferentes Anclajes.Estos tornillos de seguros, son muy ligeros dándole un plus de seguridad al arnés de la cámara.Traen un llave para fijar bien al anclaje y para aflojar el tornillo y se puedan cambiar con mayor rapidez.

Es un producto de muy buena calidad, la rosca de los tornillos quedan muy bien en los productos originales de GoPro como en los de terceros (de buena calidad claro). Para las cámaras con forma "estándar" (Yi, Hero 5, Hero 6, etc) el tornillo largo excede justo la cabeza para que puedas usar la llave para ajustar o quitar los tornillos aunque el tornillo chico no permite usar la llave en estas cámaras porque la cabeza queda abajo de la cámara y muy pegada, pero para las cámaras "Session" de GoPro es muy bueno el tornillo chico porque no generas espacio que no necesitas. Recomendaría que cambiarán la llave de caja cerrada a caja abierta para evitar el problema del tornillo pequeño con el tamaño "estándar" de la mayoría de las camaras
