Trying it to lower cholesterol so I gave it a four until I have blood work done. Easy to swallow, convenient, no after taste.

I have always had elevated cholesterol levels, it’s in the family. My physician recommended red yeast rice as I did not want to take statins. I took a different red yeast rice for a year and my cholesterol came down 1point. I was going to just give up when I did a little more research and decided to try this RYR as it has monokolin k. Got my cholesterol checked and I’m down to 186. This is the lowest it has been in years, even though I’ve been vegan/whole plant for 4/5 years now. I’m so delighted as Is my physician. I had a wake up call in December of 2019. And my cholesterol was high. Not sky high, but borderline hypertensive. Long story short, I went on a diet, stayed active and watched out calories. Over the course of the next year I lost close to 70lbs. But I also took this Red Rice Yeast. I also took fish oil. All I can say is my cholesterol went from 226 to 149. It came sealed; none of the pills were stuck together and no smell no flavor or aftertastes. Do not experience any tummy upsets either. I won’t know about effectiveness until my next lipid test in 4 months. But with everything I have read it should drastically improve the profile!

I can only give a 4 star rating right now because I don’t know yet if this product is lowering my cholesterol. I have not been back to my doctor to have my blood levels checked to see. I will review this product again when I find out if my cholesterol is lower after trying this product.
