Working from home in COVID time requires more computing power, less desktop space and less noise.This product is 1/3 the size as i expected, half the decktop space vs my notebook, very quiet and powerful. Now i can join two virtual events at the same time :-)The unit did not boot after two days, maybe from all the update i downloaded or because i didn't connect the antenna for wireless network.So many time, we bought products from resellers who do not know the products. So i asked for a refund first.The seller, VL NORTHSIDE ELECTRONIC, authorized return and refund immediately upon my request.Because i did not want to repackage the product and drop it off to UPS, so i ask them to send me a new boot SSD. VL supported me and send me a replacement SSD.Jessie at VL knows the product really well, he was nice, competent, patient, and effective. He helped me troubleshoot, send me replacement SSD, help me configure the SSD and HDD. i understand VL and Jessie could simple ask me to send the box back to save them from these troubles.I highly recommend VL NORTHSIDE ELECTRONIC and the Dell product.

Hard Drive issues from day 1. Failure mode is highly intermittent so only occurs every 3-4 weeks (too late for an Amazon return). Worked issue with Dell until they discovered the SSD was an after market change. Cannot contact seller. Phone messages and email messages are not returned. I saved some money buying from Amazon but now I wish I has bought direct from Dell. Will never used this supplier again.

These Optiplex Micros are fantastic values for the money when you need a lot of power in a small space. I use these in conference rooms behind big screen TV's so that the table can use wireless keyboard and mouse, the TV can have a webcam on top via USB, and a presenter can easily access usb for a flash drive if needed. The six-core i5 is very fast, nvme drive is a must, and 8G of ram is all you need for most situations. Will be buying these again.

I do a lot of distance education, virtual workshops, and virtual panel discussions. This little bugger fits nicely on an AV cart and tucks away effortlessly behind the smart TV so I can work from a sofa out back or on the recliner downstairs (I got 2 of 'em) instead of being tied down to my desk. Can also stand and deliver if needed. Connectivity is not an issue as they have beaucoup USB ports.

Hands down one of the best options for desktop pc available. Excellent components coupled with a compact design. Almost at small as a NUC by Intel, but you still have options to to expand or add components should you wish. Great product at a competitive price.
