The one I bought was 4.69usd. Thats for only 1 plane.

can this take off from the ground?

No. Although it will move on a hard surface, it will not take off like a real plane. To get it to fly you have to throw it like you would a paper airplane.

How long is this plane - I need one that is a foot long for a competition.

The plane is exactly 9 inches long. My grandson loves it...but it's not a foot long.
