The Main Man was worth the buy
I have followed Lobo in the comic books for years. He is a unique character. So I was excited to find the figure on Amazon. I hadn't seen the figure in any stores. It was reasonably priced (under $20) and it would be a great addition to my collection.I was not disappointed. The figure showed up in a well-padded box so it was in pristine condition. And the figure looks great.

Bite Me Fanboy!
God love Todd McFarlane for giving us filthy fanboys a classic take on the 90s era Lobo in a modern toy. The printing on the back jacket alone is worth the price. But we also get the classic knee pads and hook & chain. This may be the best version of the Main Man put into plastic form yet. And for only $20 msrp, it’s tempting to buy two of these bastiches to display, one facing forward and the other showing off that excellent jacket back, which is literally straight outta the 90s comics.

An Exceptional Gift for Any DC Fan
If you don't know how cool Lobo is, then you should. He is one of the best characters that DC has ever invented and I can only hope that someday soon he is in a DC movie. This figure does great justice to the Lobo character. He is ridiculously cool and very accurate to the comic book version. The writing on his back is awesome.

A little torn
So while I have seen some reviews for this guy, and I knew that his face was going to be a shade lighter than the rest of his body, it still really surprised me at just how bright white it is. I mean it is Gene Simmons KISS makeup white! It was a little off putting at first, and I will probably see about adding a wash to it in order to tone it down a notch (I don't remember the Rebirth version having a face that much brighter than the rest of his body). That is my biggest complaint, though. If you don't mind the Buffy vampire meets the Joker look for a face, there is so much to love here. The sculpt is beautiful, the articulation is similar to the Storm Collectibles version (which I love), but at 1/5th of the price! He's got the butterfly for the shoulders, toe articulation, and while his abs don't crunch as far as the Storm does, he has a deeper knee bend, and his double jointed elbow actually makes it so he can touch his delts! (Took comparison pics of the two figures in similar poses do illustrate how Storm has the better ab crunch and butterfly, while McFarland has the better knee and elbow)I did have a slight QC issue, where his left shin guard is only halfway glued on, but that's an easy fix to glue it down. So definitely worth the $20, especially if the bright white geisha face doesn't bother you.

Finally Lobo.
Have been waiting a while for the McFarlane Lobo and this figure does not disappoint, much. I have to join the bandwagon about the face paint. Not sure why they went with such a contrast in facial color vs. the rest of the body. With that aside, the figure is a good sculpt. As posable as an any McFarlane figure. Should make a good addition to any collection.

Great figure, but wish he stood better on his stand
Excellent details on him. I might buy my friend a heavier duty stand for him, as he keeps leaning over.

Good figure!
This figure is just as good as the $100 version. The head sculpt is the weakest thing about it. I wish it came with a big gun or two but Warner Brothers had their heads up their collective butts about such things currently.

The Main Man
For some reason Mcfarlane had his face white so I had to try to match paint the face and body. The sculpt is still really good to me. I made a cigar for him and cut his middle finger so I can have him flip off. I added some silver paint to his knuckles and his spikes on the jacket along with his jacket buttons. All in all it is a good figure. Hope he makes a bike for him.
