ORIGIN: Design, Chance, and the First Life on Earth

First up the CGI is colorful and beautiful. The quality is top notch to go with a very understandable presentation. The important information is related in a very understandable way. They take complicated ideas along with esoteric calculations and distill them into bits that really bring the point home.The video makes no reference to God and stays focused on debunking the narrative of chance explaining the origin of life in the universe. You will understand why life must have a designer and be able to explain why to the uninitiated.It’s an entertaining and informative documentary for anyone looking for the big answers.

Should be shown to all school students. Very educational and truthful, enlightening on the different ideas of origins and their detailed scientific analysis. Beautifully illustrated.

Glad I watched it

Made a very compelling argument for God's involvement in the beginning of life on Earth without thumping the bible or pushing watcher the watcher to attend a church. Religion never comes into it. Many will think that this idea is nonsense, but they should watch this film before deciding against it flat out. It also does not teach any kind of end times theology, it just states how impossible it would be for amino acids to bind together in exactly the right sequence in a primordial soup without preplanning on their part, and since to do so requires thought, which they do not have and neither do any of the other micro-organisms in even the simplest of creatures, it is impossible to live without help.

This sequel to “Unlocking the Mystery of Life “ focuses on the problem of how the first living organism began. It demonstrates that the probability of a single protein forming by chance in the primordial oceans - even under unrealisticly ideal circumstances - is beyond the realm of possibility. But then, even if, against all odds, a protein did form, that would only be a small part of what is needed for life.

Started out interesting until I realized it was pushing creationism.

This is one of the best video presentations I have seen in many moons. The video is high quality, the diverse viewpoints are fresh, brilliant, and thought-provoking. I highly recommend this for those who are searching for answers on our origin.

I found this DVD insightful and amazing. The computer models showing the cell at work makes this video worth the cost. It's well done and well produced. The information is presented in a logical way without talking over your head. I really enjoyed watching it. This is something to keep in your DVD library.

Every now and then a new theory comes along that blows our well entrenched ideas completely apart. This is one of those occasions. Food for thought. Highly recommended.
