Cool, yet rich feel to these sheets and I love the duvet cover. Lovely color and recommend year-round (will feel warm with a down comforter inside, yet comfortable to those of us who sleep "hot."

UPDATE 1/2025: I still have this duvet and it’s used every day. Still looks great, almost brand new! (I accidentally washed it in hot water a few times. Be sure to follow the washing directions to maintain it.) It’s, amazingly, gotten even softer over the years. I’ve since purchased 2 more of these sets in white and light blue. They’re as wonderful as this original purchase. House guests consistently ask me to send them the duvet information so they can buy their own for home. Can’t recommend it enough. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Wow. The lengthy search for the perfect duvet cover is finally over. I haven’t written a product review in years but had to share for others out there. My husband is a notoriously restless sleeper because he gets hot. He tosses, kicks, and rolls all night. I’ve tried numerous other duvet covers in a myriad of fabrics and none kept him comfortable and cool all night. Even using the duvet without a cover didn’t breath enough for him. I researched fabrics for weeks until deciding to try bamboo. I didn’t want to spend a fortune especially since nothing had worked out so far. All our bedding is white, however, the cal king white cover was sold out and I was desperate to try this bamboo cover, so I ordered the navy blue. It’s true to color and cal king size. It’s gorgeous! Nice sheen and super soft to the touch. I washed it before trying it. Here’s where the rubber meets the road - so many previous duvets looked good, washed well, and felt nice to the touch. But how would it feel all night? Would it pass the husband test? YES! Even my husband is impressed. He frequently travels for work and now texts me how much he misses the duvet cover from home. He’s completely stopped his restless behavior of rolling, tossing/turning, and kicking in his sleep. And that’s not an exaggeration. It’s taken over 6 years to find the perfect duvet cover and this is it. The duvet cover keeps us both comfortable. It’s so breathable and silky. Seriously, stop your search and order this duvet! For the price and performance you won’t find better. As soon as the white cal king is back in stock, I’ll buy that and use the blue one in my guest room.

The good, $38 on sales, silky satiny feel. Feels great against your skin. Wonderfully cooling. Little straps at the corners and middle to tie to your insert loops. Machine washable. No bad smell out of the packaging. The bad, comes pretty badly wrinkled. I have had it for about a week and some of the wrinkles are gone but most remain. Too lazy to iron it. Not worried about it that much. When I wash it they will be gone. The ugly, so smooth and silky that it slides off the bed. Like a slinky going down stars, once it starts to move over the edge it goes unless you are holding on to it. No matter, I would never give that silky feel. In fact I bought the the fitted sheet and sheet package of the same bamboo material.

I have been using these sheets and pillowcases for several weeks now, and in general, I love them. That said, you should be aware of a couple of things before purchasing. The pros: I love how smooth and silky these sheets feel, as well as their weight and soft texture. They definitely feel luxurious, high-quality, and comfortable while sleeping. I feel like they were well worth the price on that level. The cons: One of the first things I noticed was how easily the pillowcases absorbed grease from my face, darkening their color where my face most often touched the pillow case (I usually wash my pillowcases at least once a week, and the pictures I have included were taken directly after one such washing). I do have a slight tendency towards greasy skin, but I have never noticed it show up on my pillowcases like this before. It is very noticeable, and does not come out in the wash unless you Oxyclean the entire thing (As in, get Oxyclean on the entirety of the fabric, as opposed to spot treating it). Both the sheets and the pillowcases also wrinkle extremely easily, which can make the bed look a bit messy, even if it’s neatly made. That said, none of these were a dealbreaker for me. Just something to be aware of.

I absolutely love this company if you have any issues they will take care of you right away and when I say right away, I mean, I submitted a question and within 6 hours or less they had responded and within a day they had sent me a replacement Free of charge I mean the fact that their bedding is highest quality. The bamboo is so soft great for hot sleepers easy to wash easy to dry, and it gets softer every wash. How can you go wrong? The only downside is the material is very easily torn or ripped so you have to be careful, but even if it does rip and I mean the fitted sheets, not the duvet it’s still usable. I have several of their fitted sheets and a corner hastore a little, but it still works. The duvets are thicker, so they’re much more resilient, and I can’t suggest these products enough. Got several of these and they are the softest and loveliest sheets ever! Makes an awesome gift seriously!

I’ll start by admitting these are my absolute favorite sheets & duvet cover. I would buy 100 of them if I could. They are soft and great at keeping my perimenopause self from overheating at night. The reason I don’t give more stars is due to quality. I bought a full and king size cover - I use the full size during the winter to bunch up my comforter and make it “thicker”/heavier. Both sizes have had one of the ties rip off while the comforter was inside of the cover. I’ve have the matching bed sheets and experienced quality issues with those as well.

This is such a wonderful color. It’s soft and fits my down comforter well. It also matched a quilt I made perfectly.

The material is smooth. But was rather disappointed as received 1 pillow case is torn & the other has black stain. The pillow cases are much bigger than normal pillow case size.

Love the softness and luxurious feel of these duvet covers. Great quality. Breathable and so comfortable to sleep under. Already ordered another set. We love these!!!! Only slight negative is that they wrinkle quite easily, but if you take them out of the dryer immediately and fold them it is minimal. Great product.

It is a very good quality product. Feels like silk. Nice and cool by touch.

Vely silky and smooth fabric.

This king size white duvet cover and shams from Hotel Sheets direct is made from 100% viscose ("bamboo derived viscose") and lacks the butter/silky softness typically found in 100% bamboo. In my opinion, it looks and feels more like a blend of linen and cotton. The ties inside the duvet cover are large and long which is great and the double zipper closure is good quality. The king size pillow shams are too large for standard king size pillows (looks sloppy) and it's a struggle to get them into the sham due to the design of the sham opening. Although it was not the plan, I am using the duvet cover as a flat sheet as it offers a thicker sheet feel during our winter months.
