Worked great for me. Replace three slide out cover material. Helped the job a lot.

These will get the job done, but fit and finish isn't its forte. The adjusting screw sounds a little rough when adjusting. I shot some dry lube on it and it is working better. The finish of the tool body seems a little dull and rough, not like the good 'ol vice grips that were once made in the USA. But it will do the job.

I bought this to replace a slideout awning fabric on my motorhome. The particular Carefree topper mechanism on my coach didn’t have a hole with which to lock the spring-loaded roller tube from ‘unrolling’. I ordered this tool after watching a video. It worked exactly like I needed it to. There is plenty of jaw to get over and around the tube while it’s in place. Then I used it to loosen an oil filter which is what it’s primarily intended for. Again, it worked wonderfully.

Still waiting to use it on my motorhome topper cover. But I feel good about the quality and the use of this product will make in the future.

I have used it to remove old oil filter and it made death grip, which is good. But it really killed the filter canister, which is OK since I do not reuse it anyway. You can use this with various sizes of filters. When I installed a new oil filter, it dented and scratched canister a bit. You should be very careful not to tear canisters. I ended up buying a cheap wrench socket at Walmart so that I do not worry about damaging filters. I kept this to use for other purposes.

Has many other uses also, besides oil filters. Easy to use. So far ok….
