I live in Florida and had flooding in my garage after Tropical Storm Debby in August 2024. I was looking for a flood barrier for future storms and was told about this product by a family member. I bought 2 large boxes of the 10 foot barriers. When Hurricane Milton was approaching I followed the directions and stacked them where needed to try and act as a flood barrier. We had torrential rains during the storm and for a period of time the barriers seemed to work. There was a little water in my garage but I attributed that to not placing the barriers close enough to the door. Rain was falling behind the barriers but I was not concerned as the heavy runoff was being kept at bay. My yard was flooding but the barriers seemed to be working. I kept checking and the water was not higher than the barriers, so I was cautiously optimistic. At one point I checked my garage and water was rising rapidly and seemed to be pouring in. I went to check on the barriers AND THEY HAD FLOATED AWAY. They were no longer in front of my garage, but had floated into my front yard. At that point obviously they were useless. Based on my experience I assume these might work for someone in a lighter rain. But when I needed them most in the midst of a hurricane, they failed. in my mind something sold as a flood barrier should not float away. I went from being a fan of this product early in the storm to being sorely disappointed. I spent hundreds of dollars on this product and had worse flooding than ever.

Working well after almost 2 months. We have intermitted heavy showers. These can sit for a week of sun; they will deflate some, but refill with the next rain. Overlap well and medium flat rock keeps them in place.
