APT Advanced Polymer Tape PTFE Glass Cloth For Hand, Vacuum and Impulse Sealers 1'' x 50 ft

I own an impulse sealer and the Teflon strips that came with it and the replacement strips I have previously purchased are all very thin and tend to get holes in the strip with repeated use. On top of that, they do not have any type of adhesion to hold the tape in place when replacing the strip. This role of tape not only allows you to cut it to the desired length, it has adhesion on it so you can lock it in place before trying to put the metal pieces on the side back on the sealer. It is a LOT thicker too. Because it is thicker, you will need to adjust the heat setting to a higher setting so the heat can penetrate the strip. This is such a superior product and I highly recommend it for anyone who needs to replace the Teflon strips on their impulse sealer.

Not very sticky adhesive. It was 0.18mm thick, which means there is more PTFE than other brands that are less than 0.18mm overall thickness, when they claim 0.18mm. Trying to find a teflon sticky tape that is really sticky and is actually 0.18mm thick is not easy. So far I have not found one on Amazon, but I have on a popular Chinese website. With the current USA import tax, only Amazon is affordable.

The bag sealer on your harvest Right uses this tape along the heating edge. You can save a ton of money by purchasing in bulk & cutting your own out of this roll.

I put this on the guards for the heated blades of my Hanagata automatic shrink wrapper and works perfect. I have had no problem with the film sticking to the guards like I did with the previous product I was using. Would definitely recommend this product for any heat application.
