I thought this workbook was a great tool for my kids in preparing for their end of grade tests.

This was listed as a new book. It is completely used, even written sometimes in pen.

To improve my son's writing performance, I bought this nice workbook for him. This book provided my son a solid foundation for writing success. It's aligned to the Common Core State Standards for Writing, and taught my son how to write using a step-by-step approach. He was first introduced to the basics for writing a sentence. The use of graphic organizers was incorporated to help him plan and organize his writing. After my son had mastered writing sentences, he focused on the structure and content of a well-written paragraph. At the same time, he learned about revising and proofreading. Finally, he practiced writing in different formats such as opinion pieces, informative/explanatory texts, and narratives. By using the tools in this workbook, my son has found himself writing with confidence. When my son takes the online Beestar weekly tests, he often ranks high among his peers. I give credits to this book. Highly recommend.
