Fun to play
My 9-year-old grandson really enjoy playing this game. Our favorite Monopoly is Monopoly Build but this one is a close second.

Great game.
Most monopoly games take a long time to play. Not this one. It was easy to learn and fun to play and doesn't take an hour or more to play. Like that we can sit down for half hour ish and get through a game. Gives time together without taking away half a day.

Finally a game of Monopoly I can end at any time!
I hate classic Monopoly. It is a terrible game that takes forever to play and is completely random. Most of my turns, I have my kids roll the dice and move my pawn while I'm reading a book in another room because that game is so boring. This game is a reworking of the Monopoly theme that fixes all of those issues. While movement is still determined by rolling dice, players get rewarded with resources when certain numbers come up, regardless of who rolled them (think Catan). The game is no longer a slog to find out who gets boardwalk first and then bankrupts the other players as they fall victim to the evils of capitalism, one by one. On each turn, I can use resources i have gathered (by either having my numbers come up on the dice or by earning through chance cards) to construct buildings in the center of the board. These are constructed by placing interlocking blocks next to or on top of each other. Each level added to the top of a building increases the building's value. The first player to build the penthouse level (highest building upgrade) ends the game. Thus the biggest flaw of Monopoly is resolved. I no longer have to wait hour after hour for each player to slowly lose all their hard-earned cash and properties. Finally, actual strategy has been added to the game as each player weighs the value of each building and determines the correct time to place that game-ending penthouse. This is a Monopoly worth playing!

Not just a new version.
I bought this as a gift for my son who loves monopoly. Most other monopoly versions are just a reboxing of the same originally game with different property names and game pieces. This version actually changes it up with a new play style. The game seemed quick enough for a quick play and it made for a great family game.

Colors are off
The game went kind of fast. Good concept. Poor execution on the colors. The middle part of the game isn’t very clear on the colors of the properties. Red and orange look the same. Yellow and brown and so on so you have no idea if you are placing the buildings on the correct color. I can’t find anywhere online a map of the colors for the board
