HP 14 Laptop
HP 14 Laptop (14-dq0040nr) – Affordable and Portable, but with Some Trade-offs ⭐ Rating: 4.0/5 ⭐ Pros: ✅ Affordable Price – This HP 14 laptop is budget-friendly, making it a great option for students, light users, or those in need of a secondary device. ✅ Portable & Lightweight – The thin and lightweight design makes it easy to carry around, ideal for on-the-go use. ✅ Decent Display – The 14-inch HD micro-edge display offers clear visuals, though it's not full HD. ✅ Windows 11 Home – Comes with the latest OS, which is optimized for modern applications. ✅ 1-Year Microsoft 365 Subscription – A great addition for users who rely on Word, Excel, and other Office tools. Cons: ❌ Limited Performance – The Intel Celeron N4020 processor is okay for basic tasks like web browsing, email, and document editing, but struggles with multitasking or demanding applications. ❌ Only 4GB RAM – The memory is quite low for modern standards, leading to slower performance when multiple tabs or applications are open. ❌ Minimal Storage (64GB eMMC) – The storage space is extremely limited, meaning you'll need external storage or cloud solutions for larger files. ❌ Not Ideal for Heavy Use – Not recommended for gaming, video editing, or other intensive tasks. ❌ No Backlit Keyboard – Typing in low-light conditions can be challenging. Final Verdict: The HP 14 Laptop (14-dq0040nr) is a solid choice for those needing an affordable, portable device for light tasks like browsing, streaming, and office work. However, its limited RAM and storage make it less suitable for power users or heavy multitaskers. If you need a simple laptop for everyday use and don't mind relying on cloud storage, this could be a good pick—but if you need better performance, consider upgrading to a model with more RAM and SSD storage.

Very Good For Limited Use
I got this laptop for use while traveling. Will not use it for demanding software. It's slow. but in the acceptable range. It comes with Windows 11 Home in S mode. S mode limits the software you can use to those available in the Microsoft store. It wouldn't let me use LastPass or Dropbox. It came with Dropbox for S mode, but I couldn't get it to run. I removed S mode - once it's gone it can't be restored - and Dropbox and LastPass ran fine as did Chrome. It took several hours for Dropbox to sync my files, but it did so effectively. Thus, I have access to everything on my hard drive at home. I plugged in a tiny Samsung 256 GB flash drive (it costs $22 on Amazon) into a USB port and now I have far more storage than I'll ever need on this computer. The drive is so small that I'll leave it there for the life of the computer. All the programs I'll need when away from home run on this device. I wouldn't try to use it for gaming, but as a work away-from-home laptop for relatively simple tasks, it does the job at a very affordable price.

uhm so idrk what to think about it, but i like my laptop
malaina neujahr on my dad's account . . . i bought this laptop as a kinda christmas gift to myself !! i had a $65 gift card from work, a $25 gift card from my grandparents, and a $30 gift card from my brother . . . i'd been having a lot of issues with my outdated desktop pc, running windows 10, so i hoped in getting a new laptop, it'd function well !! well . . . first off, there's not 64gb of storage . there's 60gb, technically 59.whatever . now, as windows 11 currently takes up 64 ENTiRE GiGABYTES OF STORAGE give or take, my laptop slowly started to lose functionality, especially as its automatic updates continued . furthermore !! it does NOT have 6 usb ports . there's 3, 2 usb-a, and 1 usb-c . the battery works well, it set up well, it weighs nearly nothing at all, the color is GORGEOUS the speed is something i wish was better, and hopefully with the troubleshooting i'm doing (replacing windows with linux) that'll ease up as well . . . it's not built for heavy duty gaming, but it can definitely run most roblox games !!

Excellent product
I recently purchased the HP 14 Laptop (model 14-dq0040nr in Snowflake White) and have been absolutely delighted with it! For the price point, this laptop offers incredible value and functionality, making it perfect for everyday tasks, web browsing, and general productivity. Sleek and Portable Design: The design is fantastic. The Snowflake White color is clean and elegant, and the micro-edge HD display is bright and clear. It’s thin, lightweight, and very portable, making it easy to carry around the house or take with me when I'm on the go. Great Performance for the Essentials: The Intel Celeron N4020 processor and 4 GB of RAM handle basic tasks smoothly. I use it primarily for checking emails, writing documents, browsing the internet, and streaming video, and it manages all these activities without a hitch. The 64 GB of storage, while not massive, is ample for a cloud-based lifestyle and managing core applications. Amazing Value Additions: The inclusion of Windows 11 Home and a one-year subscription to Microsoft 365 is a huge bonus. This meant I was ready to start using Office applications right out of the box without any extra costs or installations. It definitely enhances the overall value proposition of this machine. Reliable and Efficient: I also appreciate the extended battery life and the efficiency of the hardware. It boots up quickly and handles 4K graphics playback surprisingly well. Overall Impression: This HP 14 laptop is an excellent budget-friendly option for anyone needing a reliable, portable computer for essential tasks. It looks great, performs well for its intended use, and the added software bundle makes it a standout purchase. Highly recommended!

Great value for a windows based HP notebook
I have always really appreciated HP products and this notebook is no exception. It is a great value for the money and it also gives you free use of Microsoft office for a full year! It easily handles most everything (light tasks, web browsing, etc.) that you need, and I would certainly recommend this notebook. I only paid around $150 for this with a rebate that I had and for that price I can't complain for what I am getting. It is a great notebook with SD card expansion if you need more storage, great job HP!

Bargain laptop perfect for those who use Microsoft applications
I purchased this laptop because I needed a laptop that was capable of using Windows 10 or higher to use the Microsoft teams app for work. This laptop was an extremely affordable way to get access to Windows 11 and the Microsoft teams app. This laptop was very easy to use and set up once it arrived. It was a smooth, quick and straightforward process to be able to start using it. The screen display and graphics are bright, crisp, clear and sharp. The audio system was good enough for me to use Microsoft Teams without purchasing and utilizing additional speakers or audio equipment. The built-in microphone was also good enough for me to use on its own without needing an additional microphone or additional equipment. The built-in webcam worked well as well. The price was unbeatable at around only $150. It is very lightweight, making it great for traveling. I am very happy with this purchase. This laptop will be more than sufficient for my needs, which are light work use primarily using Microsoft applications.

Very nice
It’s a good, basic laptop. It’s slower than I am used to on the internet, but it works well for writing papers.

acceptable for the price
I used this laptop for about six months. At first, it worked fine — good enough for basic tasks like typing documents, checking or sending emails, reading the news, and browsing social media. It served well as a simple “typewriter” and basic communication tool. However, after six months, it started slowing down noticeably. The biggest issue appeared when typing online — the system began to lag, even after I cleaned up unnecessary files. Sometimes it also takes a long time just to log in, which is frustrating. While it’s okay for light everyday use, this laptop is not well-suited for more demanding or creative tasks, like video editing or content creation. Overall, it’s acceptable for the price, but don’t expect long-term performance or power for serious work.
