Good quality

Bought this for my Fiancée to replace her old Redmi 9 and this phone is a major improvement in almost every way. Better battery, better screen, faster processor and it definitely looks nicer too with its reflective blue pattern on the rear. She's still getting to grips with it but Poco (being part of the Xiaomi umbrella of companies) build good quality devices with decent, if not perfect, software. Just need to get a GCam port from XDA Developers to get the best from the dual cameras. Only thing missing is the wide angle lens that the Redmi 9 has but it's not a massive loss as it's only 8 megapixels so can only do so much!

Had a redmi note 7 which was a good phone, this is better, faster, better camera, much longer battery life, light weight and comfortable to use. I use this more often than the old phone, for music and reading stuff so was expecting the battery to need charging daily but no it gets charged between 48 >72 hours. Camera is excellent, very good quality pictures. Fingerprint sensor on the side is good, nfc is good but beware some cases block it working. Processor is fast and runs any job with no issue. Face recognition is smooth and easy to use. Good clear screen, good 5G,. I've had it a month, only issue is getting a good case, a lot of cases say they are compatible but they are not, the holes mismatch, once you get a good case then for the money this phone is unbeatable at the under £250 bracket and probably the under £350 bracket too. Highly recommended.

I wasn't sure if this was the correct phone ,but my problem lay in not 5G but 3G I wanted the best of both and this phone does all for me my security systems,my network systems, and the up and coming 5G. I have old and new in one PocoM3 superbly,it switches automatically too 2.4Ghz for my Security systems, and in less time than it can get phone calls at 4Ghz it has speed and great colour . I think I have the best buy ,my wife got a mobile which is 5 times the price of the Poco,but it cannot do what the Poco can do, both my girls have two phones one for calls, the other for the security systems, mine can see all in one

This is great phone for the money. The screen is large and clear. and can be set to 90hz refresh - a definite improvement in fluidity but more demanding ok the battery. The fingerprint reader is built into the power button - so merely picking it up and holding the phone in the usual pose unlocks it. It also unlocks reliably (once I realised you didn't have to click, just put your thumb there). It supports NFC so with Google pay you use it instead of your debit/credit card. I don't use face unlock so I can't comment on that. But the 6GB model is fast and fluid and a real joy to use. 3.5mm headphone socket too. The camera's seem decent... Which is fine for me. I am not a very demanding photographer. So I can't say much of value on that. In short it's exactly what I wanted and it's amazing what you can get for the money.

Has great features for the money you pay. 5g capability, decent storage that is expandable. Headphone jack, radio, IR Blaster for changing TV Chanel. Camera appears good. Nice selfie quality. I would have preferred to have a wide angle camera included, but beggers can't be choosers. Nice battery life too, however I'm not an intense user. If this phone lasts the 2 year warranty period then it will definitely have been a bargain.
