PDP By DW Cymbal Stand (PDCS700)

This stand has proven to be the best buy for my son. It is strong and durable.

The 700 series PDP hardware from DW are perfect for drum sets that don't move much. They are well made, light weight and inexpensive. I leave a small Ludwig set at my band leader's place, where we rehearse and a Tama set at another rehearsal localtion for my other band. This is how I use this hardware. My two other Gretsch performance sets are outfitted with the PDP 800 series hardware, which are a little heavier duty. I split all sets with two DW kick pedals and Ziljian K cymbals.

This product arrived on time, the container was damaged however no damage to product, I am happy with the sturdiness and strength of the product fits right in with my other stands of the same brand!

I'm very pleased with the straight cymbal stand. I use it to hold a 20" inch ride cymbal and so far it's holding the weight well. I had priced other stands in music stores and they wanted twice as much in some cases for other brand stands. Seriously considering buying another stand, especially for the price! It's well worth it!

light weight, nice and sturdy, very reasonable price

This stand is OK for when I practice, but I would not use it for playing out. It is cheap construction. To be honest I thought it was a brand I purchased before that is of higher quality, and I bought it without reading the reviews (the first time I ever did that - what was I thinking?).I give them and OK rating because they are doing what I guess a 30 to 40 dollar stand should do - hold a cymbal. I don't play as heavy when practicing at home as I do in a show so they do work for that environment.I would say these stands are on par for toy drum set quality.

I use this for a 12'' China cymbal, and I have a cymbal stacker with a 10 inch splash. It seems to be holding up great so far, seems to be sturdy and good quality. For $40, it was a bargain.

This is a good straigt cymbals stand for the $$$. Keep in mind that it does not extend that tall, if you need a tall stand. Check the dimensions before purchasing. The name brand of the stand is not as important and the quality of cymbal you are using. Even more important is the player playing the cymbal. Hope this helps!
