This thing is awesome. Sure, it's more money. So far, we're feeling like it's still a very good value. Great for sauces & eggs. Breaks up dry ingredients well. We're going to have to buy at least one more, so we always have one available.UPDATE:We liked this so much, we purchased another. Unfortunately, it was a different seller "redpowair", and they didn't send the same item. Instead, they sent something somewhat similar, but a different brand. This fake is NOT made in the USA. See attached picture. AMAZON: This product old by "redpowair" is counterfeit, and is not what buyers will be expecting. Allowing fake products like this hurts legitimate sellers.All that said, so far the counterfeit is working fine. But it's not what I intended to buy, it's clearly not the same material quality, and not the same size. I wouldn't have spent this much on this fake product.

I learned about this whisk in a French cooking class. The instructor was right ~ once you use this you don't want to use anything else. It works great for scrambling eggs, whipping a small batch of cream, mixing quiche ingredients . . .I have yet to find a need for a whisk that this little gem doesn't do the trick!

I had been looking for one of these for YEARS and finally thought to look on Amazon. I love this whisk. It's perfect for eggs, gravy, and so much more. This is well made and durable.. No complaints.

Does what its supposed to do.

I have now been using this whisk for quite some time. I love it for mixing things like chocolate milk, hot chocolate, etc. It gets down to the bottom of all of my glasses and gets almost everything mixed in. It is best to stir the bottom of the glass with the whisk and then, every so often, lift the whisk up and down so that it pulls what you are mixing up to the top of the glass. The only reason I am not giving this a 5 is that there are times the coils start to slide off the handle as I am stirring, but otherwise I love this whisk.
