Very cool, quality scope for AR
I've been doing a lot of research on several different types of sights and scopes as I am in the process of building my first AR15 and want to see and experience hands on how they really effect eye relief, target acquistion, and are easy or difficult to use and sight in. Before ordering this scope (more of a sight than a scope due to no real magnification) I saw several Trijicon ACOG scopes that looked similar to this scope online but we're priced in the $1000-$2400+ price range for slight magnification. (Ie: 4×32) I understand there are some differences but I was very pleased to open the package and see the quality of the scope. First, the scope was a little smaller than I expected but given the purpose of this scope's design that makes a lot more sense now seeing it in person. This is a red dot sight with an iron sight built in on top of it. The red dot sight provides good eye relief of 1x32 and is a quick method to see moment and acquire target quickly. Then if the batteries failed or you did not want to use the red dot you could quickly switch to the iron sights just by lifting your eye a little higher to the top of the scope and re-acquire the target. I found this a little different to get use to since I would normally bring my eye to the side or down to use a back up iron sight. But it was not difficult to do. It just took a few times of practicing going back and forth from different eye positions behind the sight and working on finding target quickly without fumbling around. I do not mind the .movement and like the idea of the double sights. It looks really cool and slick.I felt like I was in a special forces movie with this thing.(One down side is the iron sights are fixed but you can remove the rear sight.)The front iron sight attached to the top of the sight is not removable. The sight appears to be very sturdy and well made. It has a heavier (not too heavy-due to design) but sturdy and good quality feel to it.The laser lit up very nice in the scope and I found it very easy to adjust light brightness with a simple knob and to adjust sight aperture. All adjustments appeared to hold even after being fired on a .30-06 with 150 and 180 grain bullets. I love this sight for shooting fast moving targets due to its cool red dot and iron sights allowing good sight picture. I did not like this sight on my .30-06 as much just because I dont see myself taking speedy shots at targets with that size of gun and would want to be able to utilize a scope with more magnification purposes on that gun.but if you wanted to use it on a higher powered gun like my 30-06 it works great just without magnification. This would be Perfect for a bb gun/airsoft, a rapid fire .22 with an adapter or a standard sized picitanny/weaver rail or for my future AR15 in 5.56. In fact , I cant wait to let my friends try it out on their AR's. Im sure they'll love it as much as I did. The Shock from my 30-06 did not bother the sight at all except I would advise a little thread lock to keep the mounting hardware from loosening. It looked like there was a reflection of the laser light or a small pin hole beam of light that came out on the side of the red dot. It seemed to go away in certain lighting situations. And on the inside of the scope by the eye piece, it looked like a small area could've used a little more paint. However this did not effect the actual functionality of the sight and the outside of the sight was prestimated amd had a nice finish. This is a Fun red dot that looks good , feels good, and functions well. 4 stars.

Working very well for my husband.
Red dot rifle scope by BeamQI bought this scope for my husband. He is using it on a DPMS AR15 with a 15 inch free-float quad rail. This is a red or green dot illuminated scope with five different levels of brightness. The scope comes with a .79 inch Weaver mount. It is powered by four 3V LR936 batteries, and they are included. The scope feels really well made, it doesn't seem like cheap junk. It has an all metal housing, made from anodized aluminum. The lenses are dual-layered and coated. The scope is a 1x32 eye relief. My husband said the scope is working pretty well. He had an awesome grouping yesterday while using the scope.I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.
