I've been using the Aquatabs 397mg Water Purification Tablets for various outdoor activities and emergency preparedness, and they have proven to be an invaluable part of my gear. Here’s what stands out to me: Easy to Use: Each tablet is individually packaged, making it easy to grab only what I need for a day of camping or add a few to an emergency kit. You simply drop the tablet into water, wait, and it’s ready to drink. Effective Purification: These tablets have consistently provided clean, safe water. After following the recommended wait time, the water tastes normal, with no unpleasant aftertaste, which is often a concern with purification tablets. Versatile for Multiple Situations: I’ve used these not only for camping and hiking trips but also to ensure safe water during power outages and other emergencies. They’re compact enough to store in a small emergency kit, an RV, or even a glove compartment. Hard to know how these will work out as I put them in 5 gal water storage jugs, (10 tabs per jug) and don’t plan on drinking the water unless there is an emergency. They are a little hard to get out of their individual packages, but that is understandable to keep them from getting exposed to any moisture. Gave the 4 stars just because I haven’t tasted the water.

While I primarily rely on the convenience of my Sawyer Squeeze for trail drinking water, these tablets are an essential emergency backup if the Sawyer goes down. Additionally, when preparing bulk water for camping use, the time it takes the pill to work is often faster than trying to squeeze that much water through the Sawyer filter, and I can be doing other camp prep while the water is getting sterilized. So the tabs are great for sterilizing bulk shower and kitchen cleaning water, foot soaking hot water, etc. There is essentially zero weight or volume penalty for packing these, so it is just good sense.

We use these, along with a filter, when backpacking. (Really don't want to get norovirus or anything like it!) Water is a little chlorine-y but tolerable even to my wife, who is pretty picky about that. The only drawback is the tablets are so small they can be hard to get out of the packet. I lose one occasionally but they are inexpensive enough that I don't care. Very handy things.

These tablets purify water in the wild. Easier to use than a filter, take up much less than space and weigh practically nothing. I've used them occasionally, but mostly carry them as back up for a water filter. The pills can have a disagreeable taste sometimes, but better than a case of diarrhea! Downside... there's a 30 minute wait time for the pills to kill off the evil micro critters.

Aún no me veo en una situación en las que tenga que probarlas, pero al menos el empaque me dejó satisfecho pues están individualmente bien empacadas, así que espero no ir a tener problemas con ellas en una emergencia.

El producto llegó a tiempo y fue tal cual como lo solicitamos. Buscarlo directo en tiendas es difícil por lo que la compra por Amazon fue una excelente idea.
