I honestly wasn't sure a big desk mat would make a difference, but this one is awesome. The size is perfect—40''x16''—so it covers my entire desk where my keyboard and mouse go, protecting the wood and making everything look really tidy and put-together, which is a huge win for my cluttered setup. It feels super soft under my wrists when I’m typing all day, and my mouse glides perfectly smooth on it. I purchased this desk mat to use as a solid background for product and tech photos, and it works perfectly. The material looks great on camera and adds a clean, professional look to my workspace. I just replaced this pad even though I liked a lot for a few minor reasons which might bot be a problem for most. I didn't like the feeling of "felt" as much as I like the new one which is more like a mouse pad. This made it more prone to picking up lint etc and a little harder to clean but still pretty easy with a light brush or vacuum. The backing could have used more rubber as it tended to slip around a bit when using it but again, if you had a pc on top of it or other things weighing it down, not an issue. I was expecting something different when I received this so naturally I am a bit more biased towards the new one I just received today. HAving said that, this is a great desktop/ mouse pad for those on a budget who wouldn;t pass it by for design issues that someone like myself might have with it. Great value for the money. I will use it in another location anyway.

I needed something better than the cheap and thin PU Leather desk mats found on Amazon for a decent price. The PU Leather was a little sticky with normal human skin moisture and very thin and uncomfortable. I was hesitant to purchase from this brand because of some of the reviews. I have to say that I am extremely happy with my decision. Great price, feels great and fits desk nicely. I do wish it had stitching but for the price I'm not complaining. The desk mat also came with a very nice mouse pad - so that's a plus. Unrolling the desk mat out of the tube I was worried there would be creases but my item had none and I did not need to place heavy objects on all the corners to get it to relax and lay flat. I like this desk pad a lot. Plain and simple. The DAWNTREES Large Felt Desk Pad is a stylish and functional addition to any workspace. Its generous size provides ample room for my Macbook Pro (14") while the soft material offers a comfortable surface for extended use. I've used this felt pad for almost a year now and not had any issues with comfort. The non-slip backing ensures the pad stays securely in place, preventing any accidental movement. For the price, this desk pad offers excellent value, combining style, comfort, and functionality into one package.

I have concerns about the durability. Non slip on bottom of pad is just a bunch of little silicone/rubber-like dots which leads the surface to be a bit bumpy. Would have liked to see the entire back evenly coated with a non-slip material as well as stitching around the outer perimeter to help with durability. Material does feel nice and plush (also pretty thick), very comfortable on wrists if you have a low profile keyboard like mine. The overall texture initially gave me pause because I wasn’t sure how well my mouse would glide over it but it doesn’t seem to be an issue, the amount of added friction is there but imo pretty negligible (I assume this is why they included a mouse pad in the package). If you’re a gamer looking for a low friction, affordable desk pad that’s going to see a lot of wear, get something else. If you’re just a casual gamer/use your computer for other things this will probably be fine. Will update review at a later date to assess actual durability This is a very cheap desk pad, overall I DO think quality exceeds the price and I don’t feel ripped off - just wanted to include some things to be aware of

The mat came nicely packaged as other reviews have stated. It's actually less thick than I expected, but still sturdy enough that you won't tear it. The rubber bottom side holds its grip very well, much better than my previous fabric mat. I think some people might be bothered by the texture, but you should know what to expect with felt fabric. It's certainly less scratchy than a wool sweater. And finally, my mouse slides just fine. I don't have fancy skates or play competitive FPS games, but I play a variety of other games and spend much of my day at my desk. I got this in the winter so it works well with the current climes. Remains to be seen if I'll regret it during summer. I'd highly recommend this mat for anyone who isn't picky about gear for gaming, and just wants something that works and looks cozy.
