I used the older, orange colored version of these for years and really liked them. When they changed to the previous clear version, the material was significantly stiffer, which became very uncomfortable with any length of usage. After reading some reviews suggesting that the new version was softer and more flexible, I decided to give them another try. These are much more comfortable than the Sonic II’s were! I recently shot in a sporting clays event and they were so comfortable that I forgot they were in! It was great to take them out, after a few hours, and not have sore ears! The same noise reduction of previous versions is still there and works very well. After 500 + 12 gauge rounds in close proximity there was no ringing or muffled sound to my hearing! If you need comfortable, convenient, quality hearing protection, you won’t be disappointed!

I am a musician and play in two bands, one of which is very loud. Rather than be the complainer in the band, I use these ear plugs. They filter out the damaging decibels, are comfortable and protect me from hearing damage. I highly recommend them. They work.

I had some of these years ago and I used them all the time... they were absolutely great I had to replace them, because the other ones just became way too old... at this point I'm very happy with these .. a little uncomfortable when they're new but they're wearing in so I'm very happy...
