Kit replacement went well, the "heating" and pealing of the existing seal was tenuous at best. Easily the most difficult part. Used a hair dryer and it got hot to the touch and still barely loosened up the existing seal. New parts fit well and were a good replacement. Really have no idea of the "longevity" at this point but charging and length of charge are back to new or near new levels. The tool kit included is a must unless you already have some from previous purchases.

This is an excellent Galaxy 7 battery replacement kit. The replacement adhesive gaskets are particularly useful. The battery is holding charge as expected, and AccuBattery puts the charge capacity very near design capacity. The tool kit supplied is adequate, although I use my own mechanical suction cups to handle the phone when it is hot, and an X-acto tool to carefully start the panel removal. A rating of 5, assuming the battery has good longevity, which will be revealed over time.

I was happy with the quality of the parts and tools supplied. I heated the phone until I couldn't hold it, but the sealant was still too tough to get through, so I recommend everyone get a replacement back for your phone as well, since mine cracked all over regardless how careful I was. Not a problem with this product, just a suggestion to get a replacement back as well. Battery pack worked very well and seemed to be as advertised.

Great product

First of all the tiny suction cup does not stick on the back plate at all. You need and depend on it to pull and open the back of phone. To get pull strength, you need at least three of this tiny suction cup, if they stick. The original edge perimeter, adhesive strip is pretty much a permanent glue. Because no suction cup, after I warm up the edge with mini handheld heat gun, I tried to pry it opened with the tool provided. Guess what, the back plate cracked in the form of hairlines, where I have the blue triangle tool. Because it could not flex even just a bit. The bottom line, don't depend on this kit, and expect to end up with a broken phone back plate. After hours of work, I put it the replacement battery; and bandaid taped the whole back plate. Risk risk risk.

This worked, easy enough to replace. But now the battery dies quickly again. I was hoping it would last a little longer.

Following instructions was very easy. The kit had every little thing you need. After I had installed the battery, my phone would not power on. I emailed this company and received a very prompt answer with suggestions on how to troubleshoot the problem. It did appear that the battery was the culprit. Most importantly, the representative immediately mailed out not just the battery, but an entire kit, which arrived the very next day. The new battery works great!

My Galaxy S7 took 1/2 a day to recharge and did not last long. Local repair centers wanted $120 to replace battery with no new seals so I decided to do it myself. When I removed the silicone cover I had on the S7 I then saw that my problem was bigger than I thought. The battery puffed out so bad that 1/2 of the rear cover was already off. I'm so glad that I ordered the replacement kit when I did because I could have had a fire. The replacement kit had everything I needed to do the job. I followed the instructions on battery break-in and I have been able to get 15 hours of use out of my phone now. Also, I don't need to buy a new phone so this kit is a win win for me.
