The Secret Keepers [Stewart, Trenton Lee, Sudyka, Diana] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. The Secret Keepers Review: A great read - Lovely! I already liked Trenton Lee Stewart from his other work, The Mysterious Benedict Society (a trilogy with a companion volume) so I was thrilled he published this one. He didn't fail! His books are full of great values and totally family appropriate. The characters are dynamic and relatable, the plot is fun and suspenseful, and as always, he enjoys testing the protagonist with tricks and tests to solve. It's a great feel-good read. Note: This book is slightly more kid-level than The Mysterious Benedict Society. As an adult, I enjoy reading TMBS over and over. This book is enjoyable and heartwarming, but a bit less engaging for adults. When I want entertainment, I'll probably go back to TMBS. Still, I'm happy I bought this one - for myself and my kid sister - and I'm sure I'll go back to it soon Review: Incredbily engrossing, wholesome, and amazing book series! Loved by my 12-year old. - My 12 year old daughter LOVES this book series and I love the very stalwart, charismatic, and individually gifted (and also flawed) characters who teach so many lessons (without any preachy-ness) just by being their natural, different, can-do selves. The richly drawn personalities, the true sense of ominousness and worry that only the children can solve together make it an engrossing read. My daughter liked it so much she created an Instagram Fan page! We just can't understand why more people are not reading this series - we will now read anything Trenton Lee Stewart writes (and we hope more and more books are in the pipeline)

Interesting Book But A Little Slow for Plot to Develop
This book is well-written. Relying on a single character made the book a bit one-sided and slow-moving, but the end picked up. I don't know that I will read it again, but I'll keep it.

Fantastic Book!
I read the entire Mysterious Benedict Society books with my now 12 year old son. I would put his series of books on par with Harry Potter or any other celebrated book series out there, they’re that good. This review isn’t about the Mysterious Benedict Society however.... Truthfully, we are only half way through The Secret Keepers now, but I was compelled to write a review as my son and I already know it’s a winner. The only criticism I could offer, and it’s a minor one, is that it starts off kind of slow, but ultimately kicks into gear and doesn’t look back. I highly recommend any book authored by Trenton Lee Stewart, and eagerly await his next book release. In the meantime, we are thoroughly enjoying The Secret Keepers, and highly recommend it to anyone and everyone!

A Hit!
I had to STOP my daughter from devouring this book in a DAY! She is completely enamoured with "Secret Keepers," its story and characters! It's been less than a month since I gave it to her, and she's already read it a second time! This is a roughly 500-page book. I deeply appreciate what this author produces for children/adolescents-- heck!, adults too! :) Buy it! You will not be disappointed.

Grateful For Excellent Vocabulary and Morality
My 8 year old and I are obsessed with Stewart. I've been reading the Mysterious Benedict Society to my second and third grade students and after 100 days we're nearing the end. However, the students don't want to give up the read aloud because the story is incredible. Stewart has a way of weaving an intricate story with incredible imagery and a depth of vocabulary that makes this teacher/mom/word enthusiast grateful. The characters in both Secret Keepers and Mysterious Benedict Society display a refreshing depth of morality and dignity missing in much of today's culture. This is a great example for kids and adults to look to.

Wonderful
This is a wonderful book. Granted, I had a hard time deciding whether to give it 4 or 5 stars, simply because there were parts that ran a bit long. But the story is so good, so much fun, and Stewart is such an amazing writer, and Reuben is such a great main character, that in the end, my 5-star enjoyment outweighed a smallish 4-star pacing issue. I'm already making my way through the Benedict Society backlog.
