Dash Cover Mat Custom Fit for 2009-2015 Nissan Maxima with Cutout for Sensors, Dashboard Cover Pad Carpet Protector F98

I recently found out there were a lot of cars around 2006-2014 with a melting or weeping sticky dashboard problem. My Maxima is one of them. I bought this cover to protect the dash from further damage. It is a great fit and a great value. It has holes for the sensors that are built into the speakers on the dash, as well as for the vents. I did hang it outside for an hour or so in the summer heat to let it soften and to help remove the fold marks before installing. It hasn't faded and doesn't really get hot. It also gets rid of the glare that would otherwise come off the dashboard while driving. Also, it covers and protects, but does not impede the speakers.

Sun damage had caused my dash to become glossy and driving had become dangerous because of the glare off the sun-damaged dashboard. This item fit perfectly and was very easy to install and looks nice. More importantly, there is no longer a glare from the dashboard.

Overall its a good cover, it comes with some hook and loop that sticks to the dash and then velcros to the cover... the problem is, if you are getting this cover, you already have a dashboard that is melting likely. so the 3m side of the velcro doesnt stick very well. I went to HD and got some Velcro brand stick on hook n loop and used an entire roll to get it to stick to the dashboard. That said, im overall happy with it cause it looks better than the melted dashboard that nissan wants $2000 to replace.

This item looks great in my car. The fit is perfect. However, the sticky Velcro provided is not the best for use.

This mat has saved my sanity, my dash was literally melting from the UV rays of the sun and put off a severely sticky residue. Anyways, this may was super easy to install and worth every penny.

Fits my 2014 Nissan maxima for the most part there are some areas like the edges that are a little short or don’t cover correctly but over gets the job done.

The product is decently made I will say that. It is nearly impossible to work with. I steamed and handed fitted and steamed and hand fitted. You would need Velcro covering every inch of your dash to get this thing to lay right. To get to that point you would have to hand fit inch by inch. Even if you spent a month working on it daily it still is very tacky looking. Trust me unless your blind and just don't care what it looks like then avoid this dash cover and save yourself the wasted time.
