Basic version
Everything is made with plastic material. Does not have the cards supports. It's ok, but feels cheap

I'm a huge red rising fan and board game fan. To my delight, those worlds merged. This game is very fun to play. I love the art style in it and it's very repayable. Not too hard to learn. I got it on sale and it was worth every penny.

An absolutely fantastic game even if you never read any of the books, the artwork is fantastic and game mechanics work so no one game feels the same.

This game does the books justice on so many levels I hope one day they make an expansion using the rest of the books

I picked up this board game as it was cheap and looked somewhat-interesting. My partner and I have shelves full of games, and we fancied something new with no real expectation/commitment. Red Rising has since become one of our most-played games, often doing back-to-back rounds for a few hours. The quality of the pieces is good - nothing outstanding but better than expected for the price. The art is beautiful, and there is a clear love for the source material. Gameplay is easy to learn, but deceptively deep - the first game seemed a bit basic but after a few rounds we were picking up on the nuance and strategy and really enjoying it. This is one of those games that I would recommend to every board game fan, especially at such an affordable price.
