Traverse Bay Bath and Body Polysorbate 80, 8 oz safety sealed container

I use polysorbate 80 in many of my homemade creations. Polysorbate 80 is an emulsifier. I'm very happy with this brands polysorbate 80. The container is great too. I purchased the 8 ounce bottle, which comes in a small plastic jug with a handle. I will purchase this brand again in a pinch, the shipping was very fast. I received it in just a couple days after ordering.

I use this for everything! I have used this in making Poo-pourri, bath bombs, shampoo, lotion, air freshener, glass cleaner, kitchen cleaner, toilet bombs, body wash, hand soap and basically anything I've had to use essential oils, water and oil in. I was a little nervous at first because I wasn't sure exactly how to use it, or how much to use because it doesn't come with any instructions. I ended up doing some research and found that most people use 1%, so in a recipe that weighs a pound or 16oz. I would use 5ml of the polysorbate (I think). However, I personally would just "eyeball" it, and if things wouldn't mix together I would add a little more until things would mix and stay together, and a little goes a long way. I am so glad to have found this stuff and will be sure to always have it on hand. I know that since using this, my lotions have stayed together without separating and so have my shampoos which is a big plus for me. I also use Optiphen Plus to keep any bacteria from forming since I use water in a lot of my recipes, and the Optiphen Plus and now Polysobate have now become staples in my homemade bath and body recipes.

A decently sized bottle for the price; it's allowing me to add really vibrant colors to my bath bombs and protecting (for the most part) against said colors staining the tub once everything's said and done.

I was hesitant to use this but it does make the soap a bit harder and does last longer. Highly recommend using this

I used this to help make bath bombs fizz and bubble. It works well in about a 6% mixture.

The bottle of vitamin E opened and was all over the package. I was not able to return because all of the product leaked out. Waste of money!
