Awakening in the Now: Accessing the Transformational Power of "Space Consciousness" Audio CD – CD, August 1, 2015

I have all Eckhart's CD's now, Can't get enough of This Wonderful Teacher. I Wouldn't recommend this to people that are New to Eckhart's teachings. It is a 2 CD Set. The First CD in the set was easy to follow and I enjoyed it immensely!! The Second of the Set was Much More In Depth and I will have to listen to it more than once, For Sure, to get all the meaning He's is trying to get across. The Second CD will Throw people off unless they Are use to Eckhart's fine teachings!! If you are New to Eckhart I would recommend starting from one of His First (like "The Power of Now") so you can follow Him easier in His later ones.Back to the Second CD, this could possibly be one of his Most informant One's! But like I said, I will have to listen More Carefully with an open mind to get the words he's putting into feelings and meanings. There are no words for so Many of our emotions anyway, but He Try's! There is No Doubt I will find this whole set Very Satisfying!! Harder to follow the Second CD so I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5, Might be retracting it for a 5 star in a few days :~)

Just might be a good thing! After watching Eckhart Tolle's Findhorn retreat and The Flowering of Human Consciousness DVDs, did I really need another Eckhart DVD?Yes, it turns out I did. In this talk at UCLA, Eckhart addresses a few of the misunderstandings I had about the power of Now. He goes deeper into the Now and the ego than I've seen before, and I'm finding it very helpful in practical ways in my life.For example, I had a falling out with my next-door neighbors this past week. Thanks to Eckhart's teaching, I knew what to do, and what not to do. I sat with the conditioned thoughts and pain-body feelings in the Now. I allowed everything to be as it was without asking anything to be different. I let it all go quickly without letting my mind turn it into a problem. The next day "circumstances" brought about a wonderful reconciliation that felt effortless and natural. I could not have manipulated a more peaceful outcome if I'd tried.To watch my conditioned mind attempt to create a conflict, to have that awareness, is a gift from this teacher that will help me for the rest of my life. That is worth far more than the cost of another DVD. It's priceless.Eckhart speaks of working with such life challenges to gain Presence. With his characteristic gentle humor he addresses:- Obsessive thought, amplified by emotion- How attention brings another dimension, and attention is space- Positive and negative mental conditioning- Unconditioned intelligence and accumulated knowledge- The perpetually discontented ego- The 3 a.m. noise machine- "It's the Now again!"- The delusion of many moments- The dream of life and how to awaken- Being the space which allows every form to be- "How can I know this in my daily life?"- Two mistakes spiritual seekers make- The point of entry into the deeper state- The end of the ego- And - "... Is, is, is, is!"While he doesn't say anything essentially new or different in this DVD, he does use different examples and perhaps a stronger emphasis. Each time I listen, I hear something new. Several points of his message clicked easily with this DVD, giving me lots of "aha" Now moments.Some people say his message is repetitive. I actually need it to be repetitive. I need the wisdom that Eckhart Tolle speaks to penetrate all the layers of conditioned thinking/reacting that have kept me unconscious, kept me from living an authentic life. It's time to awaken. The time is Now. I will watch, listen and practice, knowing it will take time to fully awaken. And knowing it can only happen Now.

Hello There -I am very grateful for Eckhart Tolle and for the kind and compassionate words he offers us. For me, everything he says has served as a reminder that both life and the present moment are like a kind of "eternal gift," for when the decision is made by us to embrace and appreciate both, it can be like awakening from a long trance that was filled and controlled by the ego and upon leaving this trance you then realize you are free.The message contained in this dvd has helped me to understand the ego and how when it is allowed to run one's life it will always keep you in the dark. Keep you away from the truth and realization that we are living treasures to be celebrated first by us and then by the rest of the world. His words inspire me to see every new day (in the now) as full of possibilities.I hope it will inspire you as much if not more. If in your next challenge you don't get angry and give in to despair and instead choose to remain calm, in my humble opinion you have just experienced the here and now.Thank you for this opportunity to allow my heart to be free and speak these words.A Friend :)

I am new to Eckhart Tolle. I greatly enjoyed his understated description of the insanity of our unconscious chattering brain. Of course this creates our unconscious, chattering insane world which is conventionally viewed as sane!Going inward to the peace and silence of NOW creates a space of authenticity. Neither in the future nor the past but quietly in the magnificence of NOW we are at one with ourselves as SELF and ALL. This was a lovely Christmas present to myself and what I am now able to bring to others.

When I wonder if I need another Eckhart Tolle DVD, CD or book, I usually respond with a YES. There is always overlap but I find the overlap reinforcing and thus useful. And it seems that there is always something new that I pick up and think WOW I am glad I got it. I usually go the cheap route and buy used material. Some great deals available on AMAZON.

Eckhart Tolle's perspective is at once powerful, simple, refreshing and timeless. It's an intense yet mellow meditation on being. I first watched the DVD from Netflix but new I wanted this for my library. Watching it at different times, different moods and with and without company brings new texture and tone to the ideas he shares. This is a treasure.

Eckhart never fails to deliver the means to know one's joy by the simple experience of presence in the moment. Everything he reminds us of is instantly applicable to life, because we already know it.

Eckhart does an amazing job making spirituality easy for all....

I really enjoyed this dvd. Eckhart talks about the NOW and how to awaken your consciousness to the awareness that you already are in the NOW, once you remember to be fully present with your attention, regardless of where you are or what you are doing. This dvd is an excellent tool to use if you forget how to be present in the NOW, because Eckhart does a wonderful job at describing what ultimately can only be known when you're doing it, or rather, ARE it: Consciousness. He gives practical tips as well, such as noticing your breathing etc. Not quite as humourous as his dvd "Finding your Life's Purpose", but a few golden nuggets of humour here and there do give Eckhart's talk that extra touch we love so much. If you like Eckhart Tolle's teachings, you'll definitely enjoy this dvd. :o)

This is another excellent DVD from Eckhart. Simple, straight forward and relevant for our time!I would recommend all of his CD's and DVD's. Although the answer and purpose of life has always been out there to receive - Eckhart is an excellent teacher of this message. This DVD is the ultimate DVD to just instantly stop your past and future playing in your mind. I'm still undecided if Eckhart is spiritual or phychological.. or maybe both.. this D/DVD/CD is powerful to pull you in to the ' present moment' which is all your mind , aka conscienous knows' so of course i recommend it. I say enjoy it in 15 minute pieces or thereabouts. If you haven't heard him talk..listen.. I think worth the money compared with other popular dvds/cds , go for it and enjoy.. I like it ,, in small doses,I can't argue with the words.., Dr Dave.. cool..
