Old Style Replacement Gas Can Spout Universal Fit

So you got one of those new gas cans with a "no leak" safety spout? Me too! And in the mountains I discovered that it also doesn't pour gas out the spout without seven hands and a fair bit of spillage. So I purchased and installed this replacement. Amazingly, it pours gas into your tank without spilling. There is a cap that screws on at the tip of the spout so it doesn't splash out while driving around. The vent was easy to install (requires a drill) and works very well. Great product!

Update 10AUG - I received the replacement vent and it has worked perfectly. It doesn't feel brittle at all. A+ for the quick response and support from the seller! Thanks!Update 04AUG - I reached out to the seller and got an almost immediate response. They are mailing me a replacement vent. I'm hoping this will be more durable. In one photo you can see how the plastic turns white when bent, like it's getting fatigued.Original Review - This is a big improvement from the leaky spout that came with my gas can, but the plastic "keeper" for the vent cap broke immediately. I've contacted the seller to see if they can help. Also, the rubber seal from the spout is slightly smaller than the neck on the Midwest can model 5610. I think it will be ok when the seal is compressed by the cap. I'll test that with a full container of fuel at a later date.

Great old fashioned spout. Works well on my old gas can. Have bought a couple of these in the past. No worries they work well for me.

Needed to replace the highly restrictive spout that came with my gas can. I hate how difficult those are to use, especially when you have to use all your might to pull open the release mechanism in order to make the gas flow. This one was easy to install and the have multiple tread options so it should fit just about any can. Only issue is that the replace spot doesn’t have an air release option so gas doesn’t just pour out…you have to keep shaking the can to keep the gas coming out. It’s good and gets the job done but not great. I haven’t replaced because it works but wouldn’t buy again.

They’re a poor design that does not work right and leak badly

Thank you for having a product that can eliminate those horrible gas saver spouts that never work for things like gassing up quads or golf carts or anything that isn't an actual car.

The nozzle finally broke on my old blitz gas can. This looked like a good replacement. Comes with 2 threaded collars for the neck of the can. Be real gentle with them. Very easy to overtighten and ruin the collar. Even has a warning in the instructions. Not leaking now, but not sure how long it will last. Collar could be a little beefier. It does flow fully with the easily installed vent.
