On my 4th and 5th one, still loving them!
These are a phenomenal value for any kind of rack mounted setups. I use 2 in my production desk to control not just my audio equipment, but my computer, monitors, lamps, and LEDs. The ability to control all of your devices, and even reset your modem, all on the same unit is amazing. They feel sturdy when mounted in a vertical rack or an angled rack, and the switches are bright and sturdy. My last pair was about 3 years old when they were lost in a fire, and the brightness of the switch LEDs was beginning to fade, but the switches themselves still worked great, and they managed to protect most of my equipment from shorting when the power surged. Highly recommend these for an added level of granular control over non-switched surge protectors/conditioners!

Not built to last
Built to last is a bit of an overstatement. After a year, only 3 of the 9 blue switch indicator lights work though the switches still work. The USB charging port is inoperative

Inexpensive Power Management
I gave the unit four stars because although it did what it says it does, it's very lightweight and doesn't feel as well made as some others I've used. Too bad because I much prefer the blue lights. I also wish the power cord was detachable.

Blue switch illumination quit working.
Everything works as expected and overall I am mostly happy with the product but the lights in the switches dimmed very quickly and if they are still illuminated they are impossible to see. I kind of purchased this particular item for the illuminated blue switches but none of the switches light up any more. Otherwise the item works fine.

Fantastic, very nice for my setup
Perfect. The only issue I am seeing is that the blue on indicator lights burn out pretty quickly. But I dont' care. For the value, price, functionality it works perfectly for me. Great purchase.

extremely dissapointed & then some
Update after 7.5 months: about half of the blue switch lights are already burned out or so dim it's obvious they soon will be. Whatta crock. I no longer trust these units (more issues below in original review). Will harvest some hard components off of them for use a later date and recycle the rest. Total waste of money. Read on for my first review ...I've worked with dozens of various types of rack-mountable units over the last ~30 years as a musician, sound recordist, and audiophile. Bought 2 of these units at same time. Tested all inputs & switches upon arrival. They were fine (for all of 10 minutes). Went to rack mount them and this is what I found ...Issue #1, had to rip out the rubber feet as well as remove the pan-head screws along the bottom of the chassis for the units to set flush in the rack (and keep them from encroaching into other rack spaces, thus messing up spacing & fit). Any rack-mountable electronic should have flush/countersunk screws in the chassis. These units have flush screws on top, but protruding screws on the bottom - and they're at the front of the unit so they'll bump into any other rack unit under it regardless of that unit's shallowness or depth. So with those screws removed, the face is not as securely attached to the unit & I'll have to adhere it with industrial adhesive or via spot welding.Issue #2, the screw holes in the rack ears do not line up with holes on standard rack rails. The offset is the same on BOTH units I bought so this is just how they're manufactured - not some one-off. The holes are about 1/32nd off vertically - just enough to keep top 2 (or bottom 2) rack screws from going in - not even at an angle (although that risks stripping rail holes). Screws will go through top or bottom holes - not both. Will have to ream one hole in every rack ear (one on each side, on both units, for total of 4 reams) for them to line up properly. I temporarily mounted them using only the bottom rack ear holes and with larger washers to keep them from sagging.Issue #3, after I got everything plugged in and tested it all for a few minutes, one of the 9 front switches' light did not extinguish when switched off. Turns out this channel's off position no longer works. I.e., the channel is always on, even in the off position. I swapped that channel for a different piece of gear that does, for all intents and purposes, remain on at all times, so I can work around it. But this was after ONE use. How many other channels will crap out and to what extent?Issue #4, the cord is stupid short. Like, 3ish feet. I've never had to use an extension cord to plug in a power station before, but they won't reach the wall plug that's only 4 feet away. One pro here that each unit is quiet - introducing no noise into my signal chain, which is pleasantly surprising. And the blue lights add to the ambiance when recording in the dark. Yeah, I said it. (as stated in update ... this is no longer the case). In hindsight, a 'master' switch to turn every channel off at once would be a best-of-both-worlds bonus feature, but that's just me.Overall, thumbs down. I will look for other options at a later date and subsequently relegate these to garage use or something.
