The media could not be loaded. **UPDATE**This did a fantastic job! We flew southwest and the bag goes under, but sticks out slightly. We went on four flights, and she was comfortable the entire time. I actually pulled it out a little more to open the flaps and let her poke her head out at times. A tip I read somewhere was to avoid aisle seats - apparently they tend to have slightly less room underneath. I added some mor epictures to show the fit. **END UPDATE**Will update after my trip in August!So far my 7 pound pom is much more comfortable wilth this carrier than the other two we've been testing. The height makes entrances more inviting/spacious and less spooky and it's pretty big, so she doesnt have to be bribed with treats. We can just plop her in without any fussing. She has great visibility through the mesh.It seems pretty stable. There is soft padding on the back floor and back (which can be extended to be more "floor" when you unzip the back). The bottom padding can be removed. NOTE: the back padding does not seem to be removable.The sides also unzip as small entrances.If you're in a hurry and don't have time to desensitize your pet, this may be the one for you.

second time ordering from this product line and it did not disappoint! fits my normal size maltese comfortably. (photo: you can see her sitting inside.) had no issues with the extendable part. has so many compartments, well thought out design and quality!!!

This product was very well packed and it came with durable construction.

I love the design, but it did not fit under any of the 3 airplanes we took it on. The sides are so sturdy that they do not bend to squeeze them under the seat. I wonder why all of these pet backpacks can't get the dimensions right! Most airline carriers have a maximum height of 9"

I have a 8lbs Pomeranian that I took with me internationally! I was able to open up the extension underneath my seat! He was sleeping the whole time! Also had enough room to store food and water for Him in the little side pockets! 100% recommend!

Pricey but great quality over the others I’ve purchased.

My 17in long cat can safely sit upright in it and seems to be enjoying the expandable portion of the bag.

The idea of the design is great. Comfy backpack. Spacious. Expandable. The backpack does not have enough structure. It flops inward. There is not enough support. Not sure if I got a dud. Wanted to return it but waited too long.
