This was the first book my 5 year old read all by herself. It’s a book with a clear plot told with only a handful of words. A very clever way to install confidence in new readers.

Another little story from the Reading Tree - basic but easily decoded by early readers. I would recommend this to a group of mums / a playgroup / church group / etc who can rotate the books easily among themselves rather than buying them individually for each child as the stories are very short and easily remembered.

Great for reception class!

quality of these books are fantastic! well written and really good pictures keep my daughter entertained whilst learning!
