I no longer have to worry
I tried everything to keep my son from unbuckling his chest harness in his car seat. Some of my inventions were just not practical an he usually undid them anyway. I saw this product and it was priced much cheaper than another similar product. Looking at the pictures, I knew it would work. I was so excited when I received my package. I immediately put the Bee Safe Belt on his car seat. It works perfectly. In the beginning, it took some time for me to get the belt in place around the buckle and buttoned. After using it a few times, I got the hang of it and it really only takes a few seconds to secure around the buckle. It also only takes seconds to remove from around the buckle. The same cannot be said for my inventions. My son has not been able to unbuckle himself at all. In fact, he doesn't even mess with the belt. I love knowing that he will remain buckled for the entire trip. I recommend this belt for any parent!

Dont waste your money
Dont waste your money. its a hassle to take off and eventually you will stop using it all together.because it only took my kid a few days to figure it out. i ended up replacing the buckle with a DINO one and works great now. The DINO one is a lot bigger than the original and more difficult to open as you really have to pinch hard.

Better than an unbuckled toddler, but buckle size matters
I bought this for our Diono Pacifica. Apparently, size of the buckle matters- even though the Bee Safe Belt is well made, I can only barely stretch the loop to go around the button, and it pulls a little on the seat straps, rather than leaving them totally unstressed. On the plus side, at least, she isn't strong enough to undo it at that tightness, and if the button loop were looser, she'd likely have undone it by now. I wish there were a better option, but this will do until pulling it to its limit breaks the loop.

It is fantastic! My son with special needs can no longer get his chest buckle undone. We can drive without worry knowing he is properly harnessed into his seat. It is easy for us to put on and take off. My only suggestion would be to see the little tether that holds the Bee Safe to the straps a little better. My son ripped it off the first chance he had. It still works but we have to be careful not to loose our Bee Safe in the car now.

My two year old niece is smarter than the Bee Safe Belt.
My two year old niece is smarter than the Bee Safe Belt. She had no problem getting this open and her straps off.So far the only thing that I found that works is using a button up shirt over the car seat straps. She may be smart enough to unbutton buttons but definitely runs out of patience when there are several small buttons. If your toddler is a Houdini, like many I know, I would not purchase this.

After trying things like consequences, turning the car around
I know some review say this is unsafe because it makes it harder to remove the belt in the event of an emergency, but your toddler removing his belt on a daily basis is far more dangerous. After trying things like consequences, turning the car around, time outs, and incentives - my then 3 year old was STILL unbuckling his top belt. Luckily the bottom part of thte 5 point harness is too hard for him to unbuckle, but without the top portion buckled and secured across his chest, I knew he was in danger in the event of a crash. I bought this out of desperation. I had to put it on once. He was so frustrated with having the power to unbuckle taken away, that was consequence enough. Now I simply keep it in the car and if he ever unbuckles or threatens to, I remind him if he can't be safe, I'll just put the Bee Safe belt on for him. That solved that. thanks for a great product!

I bought this product bc of the great reviews and everyone saying how their child finally cannot undo the straps. Not so for my baby. My almost 2 year old easily slid down the 'Bee' that only covers the buckle and easily unbuckled herself. Unfortunately, I have to return and search for something that will actually make it impossible for her to unbuckle.

Houdini figured it out after about five uses.
At first this product worked and I will say it might work okay for a very young toddler but I have a child who is at a 3-4 year old range development and has missing as well as shortened fingers on both hands yet was still eventually able to get this off and unbuckle during transport. It was worth a try but ended up being useless once Houdini figured it out.
