Q: does this pan bow in center?

Rapid Changes in Temperature The pan is still extremely hot, and splashing it with cold water puts it under stress, causing the temperature change to distribute unevenly and warp the metal. Give your pots and pans a few minutes to cool down on their own before heading over to the sink. If you do this it won’t bow in the center.

I have two full sets of all clad since I cook a lot. One set I have had for over 20 and never found that has happened.

Yes, it's induction compatible. I have an induction stovetop and it works perfectly well. Definitely my go-to pan.

This is definitely a hefty pan. I am not familiar with the "stainless d3" mentioned in the question, but this pan should satisfy anyone as far as weight is concerned. If it was any heavier, considering its size, the pan would be difficult to move around in the kitchen. I have used it several times and am very happy with it.
