No charge necessary
Great doorbell for when your doorbell stops working, or if your home was built in the 1950s & the doorbell sound doesn't reach the basement. Loud sounds and multiple different sound effects to choose from. Easy installation with a power drill too.

Great value for the money.
Great product my son in law installed it quickly and easily. The sound is great and we especially like that we could choose between two rings. I can hear it even in the back of the house.

Wireless, no batteries and easy installation.
- This is a big upgrade from the wired doorbell we’ve had.- The receiver works well, however, when you plug it, because of its size, you won’t be able to use the other socket.- I don’t care much for it, but you do have a lot of ringtone options. So far it is working well.

functionality and design
I recently set up a wireless doorbell, and it’s been a game changer for my home. This self-powered model makes installation a breeze, and with its impressive range of up to 1300 feet, I can hear it from anywhere in the house. With 60 different chimes to choose from, I’ve enjoyed picking a sound that suits my style, and the LED light is a handy feature that adds a touch of flair. One of the standout features is its waterproof design, rated IP66, which gives me peace of mind knowing it can withstand different weather conditions. The sound level can be adjusted from 0 to 110 dB, making it suitable for both quiet and noisy environments. Just a note: make sure to place the ringer within the effective range to ensure it works optimally.Having this doorbell has made it easier to know when guests arrive, and it adds a modern touch to my entryway. The extra socket is a convenient feature, allowing me to plug in other devices without losing an outlet.Overall, this wireless doorbell is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to upgrade their home’s entry system. With its combination of functionality and design, it’s been a reliable and effective addition to my daily life. I’m really pleased with how well it performs!

Good, but with a few cavaets
I bought the Tecknet Wireless doorbell because I liked the idea of not having to depend on a battery. It was intended to be used at my mother's apartment who has trouble hearing her present doorbell. Here are the pros and cons that I've noticed:Pros:1. Easy to set up2. Loud ring3. Doesn't require a batteryCons:1. The extra socket on my receiver was very tight. I had to push hard to plug another device in it. An older person may struggle to insert and remove a plug from it.2. The ringer/sensor requires a solid push to get it to click. Small inconvenience, but I thought I'd mention it.3. This is a big one if you plan to place the ringer on a solid metal door- it won't transmit. The sensor and receiver worked perfectly within the apartment, but once the sensor was placed on her door it wouldn't work. The blue light on the sensor wouldn't light up when clicked. The distance is less than 600 ft, so it is not out of range. I attempted it in my own apartment, and it did work, because while I also have a metal door it's not as solid as my mother's door.4. Questionable Teknet customer service- I did contact them regarding the socket because I have never come across one so tight. Using normal strength I only managed to get the plug 3/4 of the way into the receiver. I thought I received a defective unit so I wrote to them and sent a picture. They replied promptly, but their suggestion was to use a 3 prong plug not a 2 prong. Umm no, that was definitely not the problem.Bottom line- probably fine if you don't have a heavy metal door like my mother and you're not constantly plugging and unplugging from the extra socket.

Love having doorbells in 2 parts of my house
I needed a doorbell I could hear in 2 different areas of my house. This works great. I stuck the actual bell on my front glass door. So far it has remained stuck even in hot afternoon full sun. I have 1 plugged in the front of the house & one in the back. It just has to go in an electrical outlet. The sound quality is good; I can now hear the doorbell in any room. The fun thing is you can pick the song that plays from many different options. The 2 "ringers" can also play different tunes from each other. The choices are like doorbell sounds, classical music, Broadway tunes, Christmas carols, etc. If you are having a birthday party, you can set it to play "Happy Birthday"

Works great!
We had a very old doorbell that sounded like a sick buzzy noise. This was so easy to set up!!! Works great! Wish we had done this sooner!! Bought it almost a year ago. Very happy.
