Bought these to carry my 10" Ion ice auger on my snowmobile. It holds the ice auger secure and tight. Ive owned these grips for several years and haven't had a single issue.

Initially I thought these were priced a little too high, but they worked out perfect for my needs. Relatively easy to mount and the mechanism to lock and unlock works great. They fit a variety of different tools and other things going from very wide to small with the locking mechanism. Would highly recommend, great quality!!

Before buying these, I read all the bad reviews. But I liked the concept so much, I bought them anyway. While I did experience some problems expressed in reviews, they are “fixable”. The base mounted solid to my 4-wheeler rack. Just make sure you put a piece of rubber on both top and bottom of each clamp. When packaged, it looked like there were only two pieces of rubber, but when trying to mount them, I noticed the rubber was actually two pieces stuck together. The wobble was caused by the two Allen screws that hold the grip together being loose. Tightened them a little bit and the wobble was gone. The pictures of broken bases were caused because a metal plate was not used on both top and bottom( That’s why you get FOUR). A little W-D40 sprayed on the claw hinge works wonders. To open the jaw ,when they are holding something, I found if you squeeze the clamp with one hand when you push the release button, it opens easily and without issue. They work perfectly with my crossbow, which was the main reason I bought these. I also used this with my rifle, which has a heavy bull barrel, and they worked great. Went on bumpy trails at 15 mph and nothing moved. They haven’t moved since I mounted them. My 4-wheeler is trailered everywhere on trips. So the clamps get all the road grime and ten miles of dusty road to the deer lease and haven’t failed. While the coldest temperatures I experienced with these is 20 degrees, they worked fine. These are made of plastic, and realistically, I don’t expect them to stand up against running into a tree, or having a large vine snag my rifle or crossbow while riding down a trail, as I am not that careless with my firearms. Nothing out there is “bulletproof”, but these work great for my needs. I would have given them five stars if I didn’t have to tweak them. ##Update##—January 2022– Just order another set. First set I ordered still works just fine. Made it through four hunting seasons and off season chores. The rubber “grippy” parts are starting to deteriorate, I think because I sprayed the ratcheting mechanism with a petroleum spray lube. I should have used a graphite lubricant. Got four good years out of them. Worth it to me. Probably would still be just fine had I used the proper lube. Going to use new ones for guns and old ones for tools(work). They are easy to swap, with just the pull of a pin. Still would highly recommend these!!!!

Work perfectly! hold good to my rack. Only complaint trees will move them.

Very tuff

Easy to install (Phillips and an 11mm wrench). Bracket made installing on a Honda rack tricky, but found a good location that still clears the bars at full lock. Product is awesome, pivots a full 360, claws wide enough to grip my compound bow, strong enough ratchet hold for my chainsaw to stay safe, even on pretty rough terrain. Would buy it again.

J'ai acheté ces pinces pour mon compagnon, et il les a aussitôt fixées sur son quad, par un petit bricolage (une simple planche où il les a vissées dessus). Elles tiennent très bien et sont bien pratique pour lui, il y fixe ses outils de jardinage. Bref, top !!
