Why did you pick this product vs others?:Perfect for my needs. This is the size of your pinky finger. The clip is reversible, so no need for the reversible clip. The magnets are strong. The magnet that clips to the tail is on a very thin piece of plastic, and others users had it break. I sort glued my tail on and don’t have any problems. This is a small flashlight, so that tail plastic is thin. The blue GITD doesn’t last long, but looks cool in the dark. I needed the UV light for travel, but the A5 version would be great too. The A8 has all the lights, but it doesn’t GITD.

This is a fantastic little light for EDC (every day carry). I find myself using it a lot more than i thought i would. I always have lights in my bag, in my car, in my desk, etc., and I have tried many pocket lights and have continued looking for a good pocket light for a while. I am an engineer, and often find myself inside dark control panels and machines, its brighter than lights several times its size, and perfect run time and power to its size. I use the tail cap magnet often, and the side lights come in really handy in many situations where you need a wide are lit up hands free. I have been so impressed with this light that I bought an A28 and an A5, as well as bought several of my friends A5's for Christmas.I carried mine nearly everyday with light use for about 8 months and one day out of nowhere it had zero out put and would not take a charge. The light was completely dead. I emailed RovyVon customer service with a short video of the light not working and my amazon proof of purchase and they very quickly sent me a new replacement light.Product A++Customer Service A++RovyVon has won my business.

I've been trying to resist buying flashlights over the past few years. I ran across reviews for this light and got sucked into how great many said it was. I gave in and purchased it. I am not disappointed. For me, this may be the perfect flashlight. Small and light enough to easily carry, great range of beam strength, very bright for it's size, extremely versatile with the different LED combinations, and well constructed. At first it seemed like the ice blue glow in the dark feature did not last long. It turns out that it glows brightly for a short time, but dims down and stays for at least eight hours and most likely longer. If your eyes are not adjusted for the darkness you won't see it. But when they are, it is easily visible. My only complaint is that this flashlight has caused me to fall off the wagon and purchase the A8x Nichia version with red, white and UV side lights. Now I have to resist purchasing the A8x with the amber, red and blue side lights.

Lightweight, GITD, UV light, floodlight, USB-C, Removable magnetic tail and belt clips. Very bright, lots of settings, and key for everyday carry: Lockout mode. Best $ ever spent on a flashlight. Prior to this one I had a Nitecore Tiki GITD, which is a fantastic light and good value as well, but I gave it to my nephew. This has double the lumens and a lockout mode compared to the Tiki. I will say the light quality is a more pleasing color temperature on the Nitecore, the A7 G4 has a slightly greenish/brown tint to it in both main beam and flood, which may bother some, but that's a small quibble when it comes to what you get with this compact light. I look forward to exploring more of the Rovyvon lineup.

I love this little guy! Perfect for travel or every day carry. It’s so small, I can see how it could get lost or dropped easily. I plan on attaching a small loop of Atwood micro cord or similar just to wrap around my wrist when using it because of that. The clip is pretty sturdy and has a good magnet on it. The instructions for attaching the tail magnet were unclear. At first, I thought you had to take the existing tail loop off, but no you just snap the magnet on. Maybe that’s just me being stupid…Not sure that this will survive the drop a solid metal flashlight would, but the clear case looks really sharp and you get the benefits of having the side lights, which is a huge bonus. I got the version with UV, red LED and soft white LED, which I think is perfect. I made the mistake of turning the UV on at home, and I think we need new carpet.
