Alright y’all. Let me tell you about these GLORIOUS WINGS. 1) I feel like a magical wondrous bird while wearing these things. I’m a tall gal (5’9”) but these things have a WINGSPAN and it’s great! 2) I live in New Orleans, I bought these for a Mardi Gras parade I walk in. This year it rained on us. And I mean it POURED. These things held up. They got drenched and look good as new. Now would I recommend dunking them in water? No. But did they hold up? Yes. Here are some things you should know before buying this product. 1. I got the gold and the fabric is not particularly soft. So set your expectations accordingly. 2. There is an elastic collar that you Velcro around your neck that holds them on; it isn’t very comfortable. That being said I just put about 6 safety pins through the collar of the wings and to the collar of my outfit and it was perfect! No itching, no tugging at my neck! 3. It does not come with rods that hold the wings out. You can buy their rods online or do what I did and go to the hardware store. I bought 2 quarter inch wooden dowels that I cut to size. They were honestly so light weight I could walk around not holding onto them and it didn’t weigh down or pull at the wings at all.

Just as shown, these wings were what I expected. They don't come with sticks so you'll have to hit the hardware store for a couple of dowels. Also they come folded up so there are a lot of wrinkles. I haven't tried to iron them yet but they are good quality fabric and quite long enough for me: I'm 5' 8" tall.

I bought this for a Cleopatra Halloween costume. It’s beautiful and was so much fun to play around with. It is somewhat difficult to store to maintain the accordion creases. I don’t think the material would hold up to ironing.

I bought these as part of an outfit for a fairy themed event, so I didn’t add sticks and can’t attest to how they hold up for dance routines. But for what I need, they’re perfect. They’re shimmery and flowy and they add the perfect fantasy element. They’re lightweight and the seams seem sturdy. The elastic around the neck is admittedly a little tight and kind of itchy, but for the price I wasn’t expecting them to work at all, so I’m fine to put up with an itchy collar for a few hours. I’m happy with this purchase.

I wore this as part of my Halloween costume this year, it was fun to dance with. An added bonus was that it was warm (even though I didn’t expect it to be), it made a decent windbreaker. The only downsides were that it was very long and I ended up needing to trim it, and the Velcro is scratchy on the neck. Both things are easily fixable but if you don’t prepare ahead of time for the neck part, you’ll end up with a welt.

I purchased this for a Masquerade Ball. Although I ordered, and received, 'gold' wings, what was actually in the package was a bright yellow to rival the sun. There was not enough time to return it prior to the event, so now I'm stuck with yellow wings I cannot use. To be fair, however, the wings are nicely lightweight, there are indeed spaces for the dowels necessary to make the wings outstretch, and it's a good product for the money spent. My only complaint is that the wrong color was packaged.

Got this for Halloween 2020 in SILVER. It looks more white online-- so I added the photo-- it is a lovely white-silver. The pleats are so fun, it was a perfect cape. Everyone had fun twirling in it all night. The velcro tie around the neck was a little tight- if they could have added a bit more fabric to that because it was restraining- but overall it was so great- I had to write this to give a big applaud to this maker! As we know most of the capes online are so BLAH- NOT THIS ONE!
