I live in the countryside and need torches every day. I have loads of different torches for a variety of reasons but this is the only one I have replaced like for like when I have lost it - TWICE! It is that good.It is simple, robust, reliable, easy to hold and bright enough for most purposes. It is difficult to find anything to fault if you want an AAA torch.

Never really considered an AAA flashlight because to date I've never seen one with decent output levels and runtimes, but emitters, reflector design and battery technologies have improved so much in recent years that the AAA is now a practical power source for torches. I've looked at several models from different makers, and from what I can see this one is the clear winner at this price point.Like all Fenix products, it's built like a tank; the downside is that it adds a bit of weight, but not enough to be an issue. Finish is superb, but that's standard with Fenix. So full marks for build quality and presentation. TIP: no matter how tough it is, the finish will not survive for long on a bunch of keys, especially if you keep them in your pocket; to keep it looking like new, hang it on a caribiner attached to your belt and keep it separate from your keys. You and the torch will be glad you did.A major plus point (for me at least) is that Fenix have chosen twist operation as the user interface. It's logical and intuitive, and has the added advantage of being almost impervious to accidental activation (anyone who has used pocket/keyring flashlights with side buttons or tailcap switches will know that pockets, keyrings and suitcases always find a way of defeating even the best lockout mechanisms). Big thumbs-up to Fenix there.Power levels are well judged: the lowest setting (5 lumens) is perfect for locating keyholes (it is a keychain torch, after all), and quite adequate for finding your way around the house at night; the most useful mode in my opinion is the middle one (25 lumens), because it gives plenty of light for indoor use combined with a decent runtime of nearly five hours; the highest setting (100 lumens) is surprisingly bright, and practical for outdoor use just as long as you're not expecting a searchlight!Runtimes are excellent, and far exceed what was previously possible with the AAA battery. And of course, the AAA is cheap and available practically everywhere.All things considered, this little light is a champ. It won't do the same job as a full-sized torch of course, but it is near perfect for casual EDC and emergency use. Nice one, Fenix.

Great small and reliable pocket torch. It's not going to light up the street. It's ideal for finding things under the stairs (like the big torch) and in the car. Great battery life. Always there when you need it

Bon produit, semble solide.En revanche éclairage moyen(je possède plusieurs modèles de la marques tels que la PD35 et m’attendais à mieux mais plus que correct pour un porte clé)En revanche un produit endommagé dans son emballage d’origine c’est plus que moyen. Et ça ne peut pas venir du transporteur puisque ce dernier à tout de même rajouté un emballage par dessus l’emballage d’origine non endommagé.

Die Taschenlampe ist sehr klein, aber die Lichtausbeute ist richtig enorm. Man kann einen 20 qm Raum erleuchten, so dass man alles sieht. Die Verarbeitung der Taschenlampe ist sehr gut und Sie ist Wasserdicht. Als Zubehör kommt ein kleiner Ring dazu um die Lampe am Schlüsselbund zu befestigen. Ebenso ist eine Ersatz Dichtung dabei. Die blaue Farbe sieht super aus. Wäre schön wenn Fenix auch die anderen Taschenlampen in anderen Farben produziert würde. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die Verpackung, die ohne eine Schere nicht zu öffnen ist.

Könnte meine neue Lieblings Backup-Lampe werden. Für mich waren die drei Helligkeitsstufen der Kaufgrund, da ich lieber eine lange Laufzeit habe als eine sehr helle Lampe die nur kurz hält. Die Drei Stufen sind perfekt, so habe ich ausreichend Licht für lange Zeit und kann trotzdem auf die helleren Stufen zurückgreifen wenn ich mehr Licht benötige. Die Lampe wirkt sehr Robust und wird mit Ersatz O-Ring geliefert. Ich habe jedoch die beiliegende Alkaline Batterie gegen eine Wiederaufladbare getauscht da diese nicht auslaufen können.

Am Schlüsselanhänger angebracht und damit immer griffbereit. Einfach zu bedienen mit Fenix-typischer Helligkeit.
