I bought these pants for Iceland and they are absolutely amazing. Seriously this a real review from a real person. My only gripe is that 5'4 and under is the "short" version and I am 5'1 so they were definitely a bit long but with hiking boots they were fine. I also read a lot of reviews that made me nervous to buy them because people said they ran so large. I am 5'1, 105 lb. I got the XS Short. They were absolutely fine. Sure, the waistband was slightly big, but I preferred this because I always had another shirt tucked into them, a jacket, etc. Felt totally normal. They are lightweight, easy to pack, and extremely comfortable. Good to wear alone or with long johns underneath if it's cold. Now for the waterproof-ness. They are completely 100% waterPROOF, not water-resistant. I got blasted by a waterfall and my butt was completely dry driving back. They dry instantly and are completely water-wicking. Don't bother with those expensive rain pants people talk about, just buy these. People also said they were very loud/swishy when walking and I didn't really notice this.

My medium-sized rain pants pull on right over my size 8 jeans. They are not stiff and have a nice lining that adds warmth. Great zippers, and they are covered so no water is getting inside without a lot of effort. The upper zippered pockets on each side are roomy enough for a normal sized smart phone and more. The lower side zippers clear my boots, and the velcro at the bottom ensures a snug fit. The material feels sturdy, yet the pants overall are flexible and very packable. Waist can be tightened with inside ties. You'll have the swishy sound when you walk, and that's a whole lot better than the squishy sound when all your clothing is wet!

These pants are just what I needed to block out wind and rain during my winter commute. I wear them over my usual leggings and they keep me warm and dry, even in heavy rain. The only thing I didn’t like is that the hips were pretty tight when putting them on, despite all other areas fitting perfectly.

Purchased these for a vacation in Iceland. Kept everyone completely dry even while chasing waterfalls, and dodging raindrops. Served as a great wind breaker too. Not too noisy, very comfortable, easy to get on and off over pants and shoes with the zipper and Velcro cuff. Highly recommend. 5’ and short length worked great.

I bought these ahead of going to a Renaissance Faire. Forecast was calling for rain all day, heavy at times. It was a rain or shine event, no refunds, so we were going no matter what. It rained steadily for a couple of hours, then off and on. I stayed dry. I sat down on a soaked bench, didn't get a wet bum. These pants are truly waterproof and worked so well!These are designed to go over other pants, but they could be worn solo. I wore them over leggings. They weren't too bulky and fit great around the waist. Definitely order up a size if you plan to wear over jeans, sweatpants, or other thick pants. If wearing alone or with leggings or similar thin base-layer, probably fine to order your normal size unless you want them to be baggy.The zippered pockets are awesome, and a must-have to keep items like a wallet, tissues, car keys, etc. dry. My wallet didn't get wet in the pockets. The drawstring at the bottom of the pant leg is also essential in my opinion, so you can keep the wind and rain out easier. I wore these with rubber booties which worked perfectly.Being the material they are, they will be noisy when you walk (woosh woosh sound). But there not horrible. And if you're walking around in rain, you don't even really notice.If they get muddy, you can brush or wipe most of it off once it dries.I washed them on gentle cycle with cold water and hung them to dry. They seemed to do just fine like that.These aren't super fashionable, but they could be a lot worse! But most importantly, they actually work at keeping you dry and that's what matters. I would recommend 100%.

I bought the size I thought I needed (XXL short) but they were actually about 2 sizes too big. I probably could have gotten and XL or maybe even a size L. Also, I am 5’2” tall and bought short. They were still too long.I will be returning for a smaller size. They do seem to be a very good quality and were comfortable.

Wore these walking in the rain 4 miles, they were waterproof. They have a little thickness to them, so might be uncomfortable in hot, humid weather but haven't tried that yet. The pockets are indeed at a weird angle, but they don't bother me. They feel like they are made well and might last awhile

This waterproof pants are the right size for me. I’m 5’1” / 128 lb and small short is a good size for me. I’m planning to wear the pants over my jeans or leggings on a trip to Alaska coming up in the next two weeks. Two side pockets are a good size for a wallet or phone. The length of the pants is perfectly over my shoe. The convenient zipper at the lower part of the pants allow you to take the pants on and off without removing your shoes. The pants folds very small making it easy to carry.
