The kid loves it.
My son uses it to chase the fish in his mom's tank. She's not particularly happy about it, but he smiles. So it's worth it.

[SOLVED] Turning Problem
It's alot of fun for the price. The only thing I don't like is the short range. The sub is well made ,sturdy, and turns on a dime. I like that it glides slowly through the water. The automatic surface feature has saved me many times from losing the sub at the bottom of the pond forever. The short range transmitter could be better quality though. I thought it broke when it stopped turning after only a few minutes of chasing fish in the pond. But it turned out there was just debris in the impeller. All you have to do to fix it is blow on the impeller (its right below the main propeller) to dislodge any stuck grain of sand or debris. Also, sometimes it won't turn because there is an air bubble in the impeller. So just swish the tail around in the water to get that air bubble out.

No worth your money
Lasted two days. Won’t by a product for them again.

Fun for hobby, my fish don't like it though.
At first thought was a great idea for my fish but, I realized that they don't like the submarine. I didn't want to stress them out so I decided not to use it anymore. But the sub works well though.

Was Fun, But Stopped Diving
Out of the box, this was a 5 star. But after about 30 minutes it stopped diving. Still was pretty fun to play with as a boat but disappointing its main feature broke.

Really fun toy sub!!!
I wanted a remote control sub for my boy on his 8th birthday!!! His eyes lit up when he opened this. For starters its a very cool design, The sub looks like a real mini sub model!!! Second is the real working ballast built into the sub. I was thoroughly impressed with that. It has a side thruster that allows it to turn on a dime. And the obvious forward and backward thruster as well. My boy played with it for about an hour. Then it needed to charge again. As always because of the small fans and ballast I would only recommend using this in a clean pool, Bathtub, or a big fish tank!!!
