Excellent, strong, food grade buckets, just what I was looking for to store food. I love that they come with their own thick gaskets in each lid and they seal extremely well (Though I needed my husband to close them because they seal so well). Already ordered a second batch of 6!

I liked the price first off — about $6 each for bucket and included gasket lid. I ordered 18 and all worked great for long term storage of dry goods in 5 gallon Mylar bags with O2 absorbers. The lid was a little tricky to get on. You have to seat the bucket rim inside the gasket channel by pushing down on a 3” section while angled 45 degrees, then use a mallet on the seated section, proceeding around the rim firmly hitting with mallet. Simply laying the lid on top and hitting with mallet will not work. You will also need a sturdy metal lid opener to get this very tightly secured lid off. Was able to fit one 25# bag of rice, beans, lentils, split peas, white hominy in each bucket. Rolled oats, fit 50# in 4 buckets. Could then store 28 buckets under my 18” high foldable Amazon Basics queen bed frame). Finished it off with an extra long bed skirt. You can also use these food grade buckets with no Mylar, using the CO2/dry ice long term storage method. The lids/seals are very tight.

I have a small family vineyard. I love the buckets. I use them from harvesting to transporting to fermenting. Great product.

I bought these for food storage. They are nice, big and a great price to store a variety of grains and beans. My one complaint is that they aren't convinent for opening and closing. I grind my own wheat for bread and wanted something that I could open and close easier. But for long term storage these are great

I bought a dozen of these buckets for long term storage of flour. Each bucket holds one 25 lb bag of all purpose flour. I have not used all of the buckets yet. They are easy to close (with a hammer and rag - to protect the plastic lid). There are easy to open (tear off the tab) and easy to reclose. I also bought some oxygen absorbers (from Amazon) to use in these buckets. I am very happy with this purchase and will purchase again from this seller, if we decide we need more buckets.

Oxygen absorbers made a suction seal on one and that is what I was hoping for. Price was good at the time too. Could not put on the lids until I removed the band on the lid. I assume you need a machine press or something like heating them up? IDK...they work without them obviusly
