Bought two of these for my children who both love it. The automatic shut off and alarm features are great to start and end the day, the touch sensor to brighten or dim the lights is easy to use and the kids both love the colour options they can set their lamps to. The clock is easy to read and the variety of sound effects to choose from for the alarm are pleasant. This is a great little bedside lamp/clock.

I bought this as a present for my wife and am disappointed to see it has a US plug despite being ordered on Amazon UK and my address being in the UK. I have not yet decided whether to return it or buy a US adapter.

****update Nov 2024 - I've been using this for 3 months and I love it!**** I've been using the Phillips Sunrise alarm for over a decade. I wanted to get another one for another room. This was MUCH cheaper, so I was hesitant. Cons: - not as many light settings or volume settings as the expensive Phillips Sunrise - because there are only 3 levels of light settings (low, medium, high) the range of sunrise to wake you up isn't as gradual as the expensive ones. Basically, it turns on at a low setting, like a switch, whereas the expensive ones are extremely gradual. - the buttons to set the time and alarm are on the bottom instead of the side. Pros: - love the touch button on top. - love the different light/mood settings. - great price point. I'd say it's worth it. Been using it about a month now. I just keep it below eye level from the bed so the brightness isn't as intense. If you've never used a sunrise alarm, they really make a huge difference in your morning mood. You'll find you're not as grumpy when you finally get out of bed compared to being woken up in a pitch black room.
