Perfect!
Not my first choice in products, but it was the perfect fit and installed easily. The real negative for me was the brass cap- who wants a shiny gold cap on a clean out?

Great product
Solid product, but make sure you thread the plug in BEFORE you glue the item as a unit into the receiving pipe. If the receiving pipe is under any pressure and slightly ovaled, it can be difficult to thread afterwards

Keep plug installed while gluing...
My main sewage cleanout is embedded in concrete in the front walk of our house. It's a thin PVC pipe with nominal 4" ID. There had been a threaded metal cover over this cleanout, but there was no actual threaded fitting in the ground. Our lawn crew destroyed that cover over time. Cleaned up the PVC pipe in the ground, used primer on both sides and then PVC cement. This slid in nicely, but I made the mistake of taking out the drain plug in order to get a better grip on the fitting while sliding it in. I then had an *immensely* difficult time getting the plug to thread back in. I guess the heat from the cement somehow made the fitting warp? If I had to do it again, I'd make sure the plug stayed in the fitting while pushing it into the pipe in the ground...

Brass cap is not flush
Product looks sturdy and well built. The OD size fits perfectly inside of my existing PVC pipe but I will not be using the brass top as it’s too far recessed. Suppose this could be a manufacturing change, so I went and picked up a white PVC top. You can see the difference of the thickness, an amount of threads compared to the brass. If you’re looking for a completely level solution, this will only work if you change the cap.

High quality product
When I received this plug I was very impressed with the quality and attention to detail of the workmanship. Good item for price.

Honestly, pretty good!
I used this to cover a sewer cleanout. It was a very tight fit inside the pipe. I cleaned the pipe with purple pipe cleaner, then used a bit of glue. I has to use a mallet to get it in, after quite a few wacks, it's in. I painted the silly looking gold lid brown.

Great clean-out, but no proper wrench seems to be available
This is a very nice clean-out, the quality is good and it looks great. The reason I am giving it only 2 stars is because the cover has a unique shape and there does not seem to be any quality wrench to match it. I had one that was not tightened very hard, but hadn't been opened in a year, and it took me more than an hour to get the cover off. The general purpose plastic removal tool broke immediately and could not remove it with a long series of hammer blows with a screwdriver. Finally I heated the PVC with a very high temperature heat gun and was able to hammer it loose with a screwdriver. Nice clean-out, but if it's going to have a unique shape, they should offer a quality metal wrench that matches it for removal. Given my experience, I will use anti-seize grease when I put the cover back on. If there is a matching wrench available (I searched a long time) then I will update the review and increase rating.
